seems like it, he was in a daze before about the chaos thing and the seasons ending, and now with that line seems like he got some enlightment about it. then add the title to that and you get the situation, we'll see later it this is true

with how the li family is ran it adds up a little. they regard martial prowess highly and promotes diligent cultivation practice which works for them but not for hao. since hao is doing the opposite of what he think is will work for hao to become more powerful he is keeping his stance on the issue and want to force hao to change his way of cultivation. but hao, without the help of the system which requires him to do those things instead of a normal cultivation won't reach his current realm and prowess at his age and would even be weaker since the bonus from the manuals gives him more advantage and killing power. it's a conflict of what other think would work for another since it worked for him and majority of the people in that world. and due to years of tradition ended up cultivating a stubborn mind trying to push what already worked and no intention of exploring more. think of it like how old fashioned people who still atick to traditions while the rest of the world accepted the changes amd moved on, tian gang is that old fashioned person and hao is the one that discarded that tradition to walk his own path causing the current conflict.
