That part you quoted has zero romantic connotations, even more so since it's stated, right after, that he 'bedded' women. Though given the context, I can understand how you may have come to that conclusion. To your second point, well, this seems more of a personal opinion. Leandro's hesitation and excuses stem from past trauma and self-preservation instincts. It was never my intention to present him as willfully ignorant and immature. Instead of having someone who launches headfirst into relationships just for smut content, I'm trying to give complexity to each chatacter - did I fail? Who knows. If there is some idiot out there who is thoroughly enjoying this story and the characters, then I did something right, at least. Leandro's character is a hit or miss, it's not for everyone. I understand. But this nuance to Leandro is something I deliberately gave him. Is he going to change throughout the story? Of course. Either way thank you for reading.

It was never stated that he had anything 'romantic' with anyone else other than his previous lover. He had brief encounters with women, but never dated anyone for any period of time. He only loved one woman - and she betrayed him. Nari confessed to him when they were kids. 10 years have passed. She grew up. Not many people would get hung up on crushes they had when they were kids. Hari is a bit complex due to how she is at the beginning of the original manhwa. In the previous chapters she literally stripped down in front of him with no second thoughts or ulterior motive. She's that innocent - yes. As for Leandro, he is quite aware. The excuses are more for himself.
