Oh my god, I get it now. Remember when Nagato asked what bloodline could possibly be strong enough to overshadow the red hair of the Uzumaki in Byakuya? Hint: Uchiggas. Once Obito joins the Akatsuki, Byakuya will probably gain the Uchiha bloodline and Sharingan, explaining why he has black hair. It also paints him in an even more powerful background which may result in some interesting interactions. I like what this author is cooking.
For Uchiha shinobi, once they awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, it was natural to ascend to the level of Kage, even if Obito a few months ago was not as strong as an average Jounin.

This story is starting to generate a lot of hate, and I've noticed that most of the responses are very negative. I've been receiving 1-star ratings, which I delete because I don't accept hate here or reviews that give 1 star over a single scene they didn't like. I'm halfway through, but I'm starting to lose the motivation to continue posting here. I'm tempted to just give the remaining chapters to my Patreon and be done with it, as the community there is much more peaceful.
