Time math is hard apparently. If one day outside is 30 days inside, then 12 days outside is 1 year inside. So, 1000 years inside is 12000 days, or 32 years, outside. They only spent like 3 years inside when they were in the Mythic Forest, assuming they didn’t leave for the entire outside month. If they spent 12 hours outside training and 12 hours of outside time inside, it would be 15 outside days plus about 15 months, or a little more than a year, inside.
Counting the times they entered her Spirit Artifact to train, and rest, they have already spent nearly a millennium together.
