So someone is looking at someone else with a gleam in their eyes and that automatically proves guilt somehow? He could literally be thinking anything. Maybe he thinks that they are adorable and that he also wants to become a father, or perhaps he's just thinking about dinner and happens to look in their direction. I don't he doesn't really have to prove it, but there should be some sort of evidence before stringing him up. It feels so out of character for Rick to go along with this. Just killing or torturing without evidence will lead to a lack of confidence among the rest of the group. They might go around thinking that they will be next if they look at someone the wrong way, or if Shane feels like it. That's going to go downhill so fast...

One second I was carefully watching my surroundings, and the next a bullet whizzed past my ear as I jumped to the left and aimed my laser at the sniper. A tiny delay and the laser honed in on the shooter. Zap. Another dead. That was far too close to comfort.
