Hypothetically speaking if some divine being was responsible for his reincarnation, it certainly would not be the Abrahamic god. It would be more reasonable for it to be among one of these: Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism and Jainism. Where reincarnation is a mainstream teaching.
In any case, whether a God was responsible for me getting reborn or not seemed inconsequential.

So I learned a lot of things about myself and my family. I now understand why I wanted to be a competent Greek God. Except for Hades, they are pretty embarrassing. But I'll be different and using this Essence of Competence, I will be able to become a broken with this. I can improve anything and everything. Not at the same time but it is still amazing. The speed at which I improve or gain information and skills gets faster too.

I think you're confusing it with Percy Jackson's mythology. Not that Hestia is incompetent but I don't think "she is the only reason the pantheon exists".

I'll give it a try as well, although after a few days. I gotta finish binging some of stockpiled chapters. But I have to say, the synopsis is quite long.
So I am Poseidon a God and also the son of Rhea and Kronos. Rhea is the Titaness daughter of Uranus, the Primordial of the Sky and Gaia the Primordial of Earth, and the mother of several Olympian gods. She seems to have had 4 other children before me, who were all eaten by Kronos. Why would she continue to birth more children if- ... I see. She is the Titaness of Fertility and Motherhood. Wow. What a f*cked-up situation to be in. You know your husband is an abusive cunt but you still continue to birth him children ... oh no that's not how it is. Aha, well that sucks bad.

It's undeniable that there are mistakes even in books published with the help of publishing houses. Perfection is unattainable, we just strive towards it. But a pro editor doesn't just help a author in checking grammar. Grammarly or the paid version of ChatGPT could do that too. While grammar and spelling are part of their job, editors go beyond that. They refine the author’s work, maintaining the author’s voice and style. They also help author analyze the story's flow, pacing, and overall readability. And also give feedback on structure, plot, character development, and overall coherence of the narrative, providing an unbiased outside perspective. I'm not saying that it is mandatory for an Author to hire an Editor. Plenty of self published Authors go at it on their own. There even things I dislike about traditionally edited books. But I'm just trying to highlight the fact that an Editor is not just a grammar checker. That's all. Anyway, good luck with your stories.

Since you are using third-person limited narration and we are already privy to the MC's thoughts, I haven't had any problems relating to him. But the monologues does make his character feel more alive. And it's just my opinion but minimise the monologues when the MC is interacting with others since no one has time to be monologue in their mind while they actively talking with someone else. In some books whenever there is a conversation going on and I read a long monologue between inbetween dialogues. It feels like there was long pause between the characters conversation. Which feels a bit unnatural. For me this is only a problem when done via monologue. If we are given insight into the MC's thoughts via the narration, I don't mind it at all. When the MC is alone however, go ham with the monologues. It's preferable than the MC speaking his thoughts out loud all the time.
