I would have rated it higher since I have a preference for apocalypse themed ones, however this one is not very good. I've read up to chap 400, and I can definitely say that the MC is your below average subpar hack'n'slash mc with thick plot armor. there is virtually no kingdom building, nay, not even decent intelligence in the mc. He's just wandering from place to place like your run of the mill mmorpg where the plot armor is his p2w cheat. Whenever the author feels like it we switch to the Manor or his shelter which is fully afk managed by npcs. In terms of character development, there is none....I mean what do you expect from a cheap mmorpg remake into a story. Don't spend your coins on this waste of time. Albeit, the TL is not bad but could be way better, and the updates are reasonably consistent, but overall the story is SO bland. I would suggest some other books like "I have a doomsday city" which is way better in depth than this story.
the translation quality is getting worse and worse. the correction function does fck-all. subsequent titles are mistranslated or isn't translated at all
man, I have to say the mc is an idealist and naive toddler, trapped in an adult's skin. the story is light enough at first but the same naive Outlook from the mc (and very-slice-of-life style choices) gets old after 200 chapters in. the world is quite interesting, but it wears on you with all the seemingly endless good fortune with no effort landing on the mc's lap. utterly disappointing and dull. poor character building even after 300 chps.
I feel like this whole arc is a little dumb....why didn't the MC monitor his enemy (Duke of Orleans who is known to be the opposition)?? could have played/schemed the opposition to death....
Masterful storytelling and translation work, as well as deep insightful pen work by the author, has translated this historical fiction into an deeply engaging, adrenaline pumping, action-packed story. There is no system (thank god; I think everyone is tired of the overly used troupe and clichés of face slapping), but with masterful use of language - both by the author and Faithfully translated by the TL, allowed arcs of the story to have similar scenes of "face-slapping". Additionally, the amazingly true historic resemblance of other fictional character woven seamlessly into the true historical background and characters. This story is an absolute delight to read! had me gripping the edge of the seat in every chapter, without sudden and obvious cliffhangers. Beautifully done TL. This is an absolute gem among the drool that is infesting this webnovel platform.
See this! I just gifted the story: Massage chair
man....what a beta. this is probably the only flaw/strangeness in this novel.
kahaha....what a humble brag...he does have the capacity to brag though, sigh
keep up the good work. if only the clan leader is a bit more powerful and not having to rely on schemes all the time
the translation quality has deteriorated drastically
