The chapter was good, not great honestly, but good, it feels like it needs to be a bit more fluffed up, and it feels like Adam agreed to help him out for too cheap a price. Also, I think that with Adams' knowledge of how the Volturi act and his experience with them, he would have kept tabs on them, and if not him, then his protege so he would be aware of the change in their modus operandi from the books and maybe any major change if not very accurate inner information.
