100% with you there, I feel the same way but I’ll still give stuff a chance since there are some great stories out there, it’s just there are often too many terrible imitations that a gem is often hard to find. If you haven’t already you should check out “I hate Systems” it’s a system novel with a different take, you might find it amusing. Thanks for looking out for me though. When I wrote the original comment I had probably just finished reading 10 terrible novels with the same setting but luckily it was just my misunderstanding for this novel as it doesn’t have this cliché, it’s a great read and I’ve paused at chapter 1250 or so, I’ll read the rest later.

That’s fine, chapters just feel super short making this battle extra drawn out with so many details being mentioned about this and that spell. I feel like 6 chapters should be merged together or it’s like nothing has happened at all. I’ll take a break reading this until I can binge.
AN: I had not planned the Besanc mission to last this long. But then I thought it'd be a suitable place to show the progress Eren's crew members had made over the months. Stating progress in passing and allowing characters to showcase the progress mid-battle are two different things after all.
