Capítulo 33: Overwrite
~Outer space~
(Ztar's currently leading his men onto outer space for months now. They had recently arrived at the Milky Way)
Ztar: Alright men, it's just 5 days left until we reach our destination. We can do this.
(Suddenly, a floating vector head by the name of Dr. Kawaishima came in front of them)
Kawashima: Halt, I will not let you lay waste on this galaxy again.
Ztar: Oh, we'll see about that. ATTACK!!!
(The Reapers then attack the floating head as he starts vaporizing his army one-by-one)
???: (calls him) Ztar, what's going on here?
Ztar: Sorry master, but it'll take a bit longer to get here. Someone doesn't want to impede our travel. (hangs him up) (to Kawashima) Alright fool, time for you to learn something deadly.
???: (ponders on his mind) Why do I have a feeling this seemed familiar...
~TV Store~
Kirby: There's no way this had happened.
Lo: I think it just did.
Kel: (grabs the attacker) How could you possibly know all of this? Is this part of your plan?
Burntrap: I wouldn't say that was my plan. & by over a week, you'll all be doomed.
Mario: Not if we can handle it. (to Kirby) Kirby, how dangerous do those fellows be?
Kirby: Very dangerous. The one attacking Inkopolis has the power to hack sentries, haywire communications, & see everything via CCTV. The woman in Hyrule uses giant minions to capture those who resist, while she films over one of the most breathtaking countries here to a crisp. I don't even know who that last person does, she's almost invisible.
Lo: & they all used to be my friends. We need to get there, fast!
KP: (rises from the ground) Fast, you got it.
Kel: Mom, (hands over NASA-Kun) can you please take care of our child while we're out?
Senko: It is an honor.
Lo: (lends her Burntrap) Good, because you'd also take care of this guy too.
~Inkopolis Square~
(the gang then popped up in the almost barren streets of this town. It's almost like when Ztar's men ruled it some time ago. During then, Lo's busy whispering something onto his arm, which flashed pink at that time)
Kirby: Now I see why you're not welcome here a long time ago.
Mario: Wait, isn't he always watching?
(By that moment of realization, the giant TV screen opens up, revealing Malware)
Malware: My, oh my. Looks like we got intruders in our midst.
Maya: There's no way we'll be backing down to you, vile fiend.
Malware: We'll see about that. Remember Maya, the master said you're part-drone. & with some data Burntrap gave me, I'd save me some valuable firepower.
(Just then, Maya suddenly sputters & sparkles as her code's getting overwritten. By a few seconds, she changed to her Disassembly form)
Lo: Whoa my.
Mario: Everyone, RUN!!!
(The gang then ran as Maya starts hunting them down. Kirby starts trailing them to the beeline until they went to a building)
Kirby: Alright, we should be safe now. (Suddenly, sentries then pop out of nowhere, surrounding the gang) OH COME ON!
Malware: (reveals himself, hooked up to a wired chair) Well, looks like you lead yourselves to me. Seems that's stupid, even to your inferior minds.
(Maya then crashes to the floor, holding them at gunpoint)
Lo: Release our friend at once.
Malware: Why would I? She used to be one of us. She's the one responsible for this. Do you think I'd hand her over to you?
Mario: We may not do so, but I think she can.
(his chair then glitched out, flying him to a nearby column. Maya's eyes then suddenly flash pink as something took over her instead)
Malware: WHAT? IS? HAPPENING???
Kel: Oh, it's just something my husband had picked up back then.
Lo: Great job, Lucinia!
(Lucinia then gave Maya a prompted thumbs up. Meanwhile, Malware had plugged himself off)
Malware: Foreign entity detected. Initiating Anti-Virus mode.
(Inside the software, Lucinia sees the antivirus & then brings out the replicated Control Chip back from Silica City)
Lucinia: You're not shutting me down that easily! (plugs it to the antivirus, effectively corroding it)
Malware: Error. Error. Overwriting command.
Maya: Guys, what's happening here? It seems like my control's being jumbled up.
Malware: Shutting down sentries. Releasing control.
(Maya & all the other sentries then shut down. Before they knew it, the land's back to the Inklings)
Malware: Impossible. How?
Lucinia: Lo tapped me in just as we head here. He knows that if I'd learn how to hack the inside out, I'd know how to stop fellows like you.
Malware: Too bad I had a contingency plan. (whiffs in the seat blasters)
Lo: (notices a collapsed Crewmate body, probably a victim of the sentries. He then picks it up & aims it to Malware) nope (he throws it, only for the body to suddenly turn to a magnetic microwave. As soon as it hits him, he goes spiraling randomly)
Mario: How did you do that?
Lo: I don't know. It just transformed in front of me!
(His pod from the mall starts emitting an unknown light. It then changes form from a hollow sphere to an oblong-ish capsule. The screen then lights up, saying "Commencing Universal Adjusting Protocol", & then it makes a portal through the roof. On a nearby grate, a red light illuminates)
???: He's here...
