~Inkopolis City Hall~
Assistany: Sir, i detect an incoming threat entering the city borders. Should we close it off?
Mayor: Negative. *sighs* First there's the abduction, then a giant thing heading to us, & now this?! I don't know what to do anymore.
Assistant: With all due respect sir, it seemed too early to call in the apartheid. There are some humans that defy it.
(Just then, a pipe exloded on his office. Ztar, Lo?, & Zel? got out & apprehended the mayor)
Ztar: Boss, it's my turn now.
Mayor: I'm really gonna consider activating it.
(Later... on public television)
Kermit: This just in, a local dictator that beseiged Inkopolis has made his announcement.
Ztar: Attention all inferior life forms, we'll rule this land now. By the accords of the Absolute Cult, all of you will be incinerated on the heavenly gift above. If you have any unfinished business, do it. Us, on the other hand, will stay safe because it's not programmed to destroy allies. Tick tock everyone, your doomsday is calling.
Maya: See, i never expected it'll go down like this.
Mario: Yeah, but i made you chase my ass. (blushes) & you really think this is amusing for you.
Maya: I'm sorry. It's just that if they see me being weak, they'll threaten to disassemble me.
SMG4: We'll worry about that later. Our world's in danger & you'll make an effort to redeem yourself.
Meggy: Hey Maya, it's fine. We'll get through this together.
Maya: Alright, but i'm not gonna like it.
Hal: I'm coming too. I still need to avenge my comrades.
Mario: Ok then.
(Back then, Lo & Zel are consumed by the influence of the chips. When Zel wakes up, Lo's already beside her)
Zel: Lo? Oh no, did that chip kill us?
Lo: Relax, it didn't kill us. It's just that... we're in what looks like my memory.
Zel: How could it be? I didn't see you anywhere.
Young Lo: Come this way.
?Kirby: Wait up, Lo. Don't forget us.
Zel: Oh.
Lo: & i thought i made my name up.
~Inkopolis Square~
Mario: HEY, ZTAR! WE'RE HERE TO CHEW BUBBLE & KICK ASS! & THEY DON'T SEEM TO HAVE BUBBLEGUM!
Maya: Mario! You'll blow our cover!
(The main TV screen turns on, depicting Ztar on the Mayor's Office)
Ztar: I've been expecting you. But there's no way you'll take down my massive army.
SMG4: Says you. You only had Lo & Zel. There's no way you'd rally an army that easily.
Ztar: I took care of that.
(With that, a swarm of Teletubby cultists & anti memes came out, putting the team in a massive disadvantage)
Mario: You had to ask.
(While the army's beating the gang up, Ztar watches as the end of days is near)
Zel?: Sir, why don't you let us deal with the fellows? They seem to be preoccupied.
Ztar: Exactly. We'll wear them down first, then you two can wreck them as you easily please.
Lo?: Well i'm beat. I'mma go get some tacos.
Zel?: Me too. But let's make this quick. Who knows what will happen if we let our guard down.
(& just like that, King Pipe sees this as an opportunity to escape. He then ejects a pipe near Ztar's fce, KO-ing him instantly. He then sinks down as he starts gathering something)
Mario: We're surrounded.
(Just then, a pipe came out, & it spewed criminals from prison)
Hal: WTF?!
KP: (via live recording) Alright criminals, this will be temporary, but you'll fight for your lives. & Hal, i swear to bring them back when its over.
Hal: You better be. I can't arrest them again when it blows up in my face.
(& so, the criminals fought alongside the Resistance. When Ztar regains consciousness, King Pipe's gone to them)
Ztar: Oh, you son of a bitch. (to Lo? & Zel? via walkie talkie) You two, stop this uprising.
Lo? & Zel?: On it.
Maya: I'm getting the hang of this.
Mario: What, like ripping other subordinates into a pulp? I feel you.
(Just then, a great darkness crashes into the field, & when it disperses, it reveals what appears to be an anti version of Hope)
KP: This ain't good.
Chaos: (brings out Zel's scythe) Come on everyone, let Chaos show you the door of death!
Hal: Looks like it be a time to bail.
KP: Granted.
(The gang gets in King Pipe quick & Chaos tries to attack him only to got away easily)
Ztar: Don't bother chasing them. Just trap the criminals, besides, they don't have any time left.
(Meanwhile, Lo & Zel gazed on his younger self & his friends. Among those friends are simply Red, Blue, Green, & Purple)
Lo: I don't understand why i even left this place, it's too delightful.
(Suddenly, a grim shadow encloses the Kirbys. They gazed onto the sky, where their fates are sealed)
Zel: Lo, you better gotta see this.
(Lo then turns around, only to find an alien swarm of mechanical squids had arrived)
