In a dark room where only a chair was present, and on it a woman with her eyes blindfolded, a man entered and slowly removed his jacket. He then put on leather gloves, looked at the woman who seemed to be speaking in Spanish, and then made the lights turn on.
"I thought of so many people attacking me, and I never imagined you'd be so easy to catch, Mariela, also known as the woman of the Pink Sneakers." Dante, who had arrived at this point so quickly, was briefed on the situation and looked at Mariela, the woman who had made him return to New York so quickly.
"It's you..." Mariela raised her head, fear written on her face.
Dante removed the blindfold from her face and continued, "I have many questions, Mariela; in many of them, you have no chance of escaping alive, but there is still a way to get out of my sight."
"You're younger than I thought; those tattoos on your arms tell me you're one of the Sons of Anarchy, and the way you speak makes it more than certain that you're the leader." Mariela decided to act casually; after all, she had understood that something like this would happen to her eventually; she just didn't expect it to be so soon.
Dante unconsciously played with the gun in his hands while staring intently at the growing fear in the face of the woman who had killed more men in the last six days than he had in the entire month.
"Explain one thing to me: why attack my organization? If there's some third party I don't know and isn't in prison, I'd appreciate it if you told me." Dante paused and continued, "Come on, I know the attack on Ghost's organization is based on an internal betrayal, so that's not of interest to me. I don't care if you attack others; what I want to know is why you decided to hurt the Sons of Anarchy, my family."
At this moment, Mariela finally realized that something was wrong. The man in front of her was completely different from what she had imagined the leader of the Sons of Anarchy to be.
Previously, from the rumors she had heard on the street, Mariela had gotten the impression that the leader of the Sons of Anarchy was an elderly man with identity issues, impulsive, without doubts, and completely paranoid.
But now Dante's attitude was as deep as the sea, and she couldn't guess what was going on in his head. The presence of his body was like a heavy rock pressing down on Mariela, making it hard for her to breathe.
"You were only attacked once, so why are you..." Mariela didn't even dare to look at Dante and lowered her head slightly.
"Why?" Dante looked away in silence. "You, a woman who doesn't understand the magnitude of the problems she can cause, only attack for her own interests. But Mariela, you've attacked me, and I'll make sure that everyone around you, whether good or bad, pays with interest."
"Just kill me and stop playing games..." Mariela's attitude soon became indifferent; she didn't fear Dante, knowing that the worst he could do was kill her.
But then a smile appeared on Dante's face, and he said, "Do you think I'll give you an easy way out?"
"What?"
"You're a woman, and you have a decent body; at least I'd use you for a while before selling your organs. Hmm, I'll make you suffer the consequences of many of your actions, slowly."
Mariela, who had been calm, suddenly changed her expression and muttered, "You're a damn lunatic..."
"Me?" Dante pointed at himself as if he still couldn't believe what he was hearing. "There are many ways to make you suffer; one of them would be to have you abused to death, but even I have limits. That's why now, just focus on what I want to know; think about your actions and what could happen."
There was a long silence. Mariela, who thought death was what awaited her, discovered the harsh reality.
Dante wouldn't let her go so easily, not when he still had enemies to protect.
"It was an accident..." Mariela murmured in a broken voice.
"Say it again; I didn't hear you."
"It was an accident, damn it." Mariela shouted after deciding to tell the truth.
Only then did Dante discover that this stupid woman had thought it was a good idea to attack his organization after imagining a brilliant outcome where the Sons of Anarchy, Soldier Nation, and Ghost's organization would fight.
Only then would they weaken to the point where many would die, and James might be among them.
"Ha, ha, ha!" Dante, who had spent more time than necessary, left the room, not without first telling Cocodrilo, "Make sure she disappears quietly, but first take her to Ghost, tell him it's my gift, and I await his response."
"Understood, boss." Cocodrilo nodded slightly and then entered the room where Mariela was tied to the chair.
