There are a lot of things that you can tell from the homes in an area. The key aspects being poverty and or the general impression of safety.
Do the windows have bars?
Do the doors have locks on locks on locks, each being a completely different type?
Are the doors really thick comparable to a thinner but taller vault door?
Do the homes have beautiful glass doors?
These are the kinds of things that'll tell you a lot about an area on a first glance.
But there's one key aspect isn't always visible; home security systems. Some people however advertise them with signs as a form of deterrence.
Question of the chapter: Are you the kind of person that will only take preventive measures (such as a security system) only after something has happened?
