I almost dropped the medicine tray I was holding when I heard an older female voice from the queen's door. Hiding against the wall, I met the cold floor of the hospital.
Where is he?
Is the prince alright?
Why would they send a search party for him? He's already kicked out of the kingdom?
Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the punishment?
And why would we settle with a mate-less crowned prince? The kingdom will not flourish!
"The ruling party would not be happy about your decision, grandmother." My head flew to look at Prince Alaric who closed the door, I could no longer hear what they were talking about.
My hearing has worsened.
A whimper escaped my throat, as I tried to fight the urge to cry.
