"Hey, Officer Tranquility, where are we rushing off to like this?" Ye Tian asked, slouched in the passenger seat, bored out of his mind.

"I have a bestie who's a journalist. She went undercover at a 'gutter oil' factory today. They caught her. She just sent a rescue SOS via text, and I'm off to save her."

"Then why drag me into this?" Ye Tian grumbled, "I'm not lifting a finger if there's nothing in it for me."

"You!" Wang Ke'er gnashed her teeth in anger and retorted, "This is about maintaining social order. With your abilities being so strong, why wouldn't you help?"

"Hey, hey, hey, don't say that. I'm neither a saint nor a good person," Ye Tian shrugged, "Besides, I'm not a cop. Why should I go? Just because I have the skills? There are plenty of tough guys at Shaolin Temple, why not ask them?"
