I love this novel. The fight scenes are simply wonderful and easy to follow while complicated at the same time. The concept behind the story is like a breath of fresh air. Even the occasional typos don't reduce it's beauty. I WANT MORE
I hate the Female lead Anya. Shes a *****, She always get MC into trouble, Fuck her. Everything is great except the female lead. But why do you have the "System" Tag? I dont see any system even in chap 12. Why so late to intruduce cheat? Cheats should be intruduced in first chapters

I find the actual story to be decent, not anything great but not anything terrible either. The only reason I gave the story a 2.6 overall rating is because of character development and character plot. I personally think this whole tournament arc is useless to the story and the fact that in this story, power is everything and it somehow makes the whole situation with his mother and siblings ok, that kind of character development isn’t really my cup of tea.
One of the hidden gems in webnovel,good story,well paced,good humor and im I'm actually curious how it didn't get enough exposure so I'm rooting for the author to keep it up,and it might get into top 100 soon enough and hopefully it will not get into premium,coz that's how good of a story is this novel

Different take on the cultivation novels. Characters are well developed and have their own motivations. Even though some editing needs to be done on some of the chapters for ease of reading, I definitely recommend this one.
Is not going to be long winded review, but the grammar could be improved and also his style of writing. But English is not his first language and I think I don’t have problem with that. I’m just trying to be honest here. But let’s talk about the story itself. Marvelously crafted. Small details decorating the story to know and understand out character is not only one sided but has a human emotion. The world build is pretty interesting too. Sometimes you don’t have to tell everyone what’s going on but can actually show them what they have in the story. Like when the author introduces technology to the era where martial arts reigning supreme. Overall this could be really good story!

I really liked the stoy and the world set up, the story itself is compelling. It is more interesting than the novels in which the MC has to escape/fight his relatives from his mother's/ father's side. Of course there are few cheats like he is good at everything like alchemy, blacksmith and arrays. Overall the MC' s character is fell flushed out, in the begining he is innocent and naive but that changes as the the story continues. The fighting is good. I would like to see more politics and betrayal in the story. I like MC' s MOM she is badass, powerfull but she is also gentle and warm towards her family. I think the author should focus a little more on his mom. CAN anyone tell me when will the next chapter be released?

But if you like the struggle that comes with gaining strength, a harem that actually makes sense, and a novel with a true sense of purpose, then this is for you. Unlike what is mainstream wuxia novels, my protagonist has no cheats, just luck, talent, and a penchant for hardwork. This is a story to show that you don't need heaven defying talents or and old man in a ring or a treasure in your soul to be powerful. You can get there just by the strength of your heart. And unlike my other novels Alex is not an anti hero, he's a typical underdog.
