After giving Dai Jie the jade slip, Xu Yue turned her attention away from him, as her eyes once again began moving and looked throughout the Three Thousand Regions for any person that might interest her.
Even though changing your fate was nearly impossible, and was not something that most cultivators could ever hope to achieve in their lifetimes, Xu Yue kept finding such people
Although perhaps only one in one hundred trillion living being managed to change their fate, this still meant that an extremely huge number of such beings existed in the Three Thousand Regions.
But even though they could change their own fate, these people could never hope to ever change the major effects that would happen throughout the Three Thousand Regions, as the hand of fate was not something so easily changed.
This was the reason why, although many people could change their fate, Xu Yue's predictions still turned out to be accurate every single time.
Another reason for this fact was the fact that Xu Yue did not involve herself in minor events, whose outcomes could perhaps be changed, as every single event she took part in instantly became one of major importance because of her power.
But at the moment, Xu Yue was not thinking about this, rather, she was currently looking through the fate of someone.
Someone whose fate had changed.
Hu De, an extremely normal cultivator at the Foundation Establishment realm.
'This is a bit weird, this one is a bit too normal,' thought Xu Yue as she stared at Hu De, as well as at his fate.
A moment later, Xu Yue suddenly Soul-Searched Hu De, without the latter even realizing it.
Even though Xu Yue knew that everything that she had seen thanks to the Dao of fate couldn't be false, she couldn't help but frown as she saw just how ordinary Hu De was.
Usually, those who could change their fate were those out of the ordinary, those who would work far harder than other people, and would push themselves to the absolute limit.
After seeing that there was nothing wrong with Hu De himself, Xu Yue instantly looked at the way he first encountered cultivation, causing a frown to appear on her face instantly.
...
As she stared at Qin Song, who was currently cutting down a small tree, Xue Lanying, who had just opened her eyes, couldn't help but faintly frown.
"Do you have to take so long to cut down every single tree?" asked Xue Lanying as she looked at her Dao Companion.
Hearing Xue Lanying's words, Qin Song merely shook his head and did not respond at all, as he then turned his attention back towards the small tree in front of him, which was only around one meter tall.
After around thirty minutes of preparations, Qin Song finally took in a deep breath as he raised his axe to his side.
With a speed for beyond that of a Minor Transcendence Cultivator, Qin Song's axe swung towards the tree.
Without any warning, the axe froze mind way, causing Xue Lanying, who had been watching this scene closely, to slightly frown.
"Did something happen? I haven't seen you stop midway through cutting a tree in a very long amount of time," said Xue Lanying as she tilted her head sideways.
Usually, even if Qin Song were to be disturbed by a hostile cultivator, he would not pause the cutting down of a tree, rather, he would let Xue Lanying handle it whilst he cut down the tree without a single care in the world.
"It would be quite disrespectful towards our guest here if I continued my work whilst she is waiting," said Qin Song as he pointed towards Xue Lanying, prompting her to suddenly turn her head around and stare behind her.
As she looked at the woman, who was sitting cross-legged just a short distance behind her, so much so that she could touch her by just stretching out her hand, Xue Lanying couldn't help but feel extreme horror.
"That's... true, it would be quite disrespectful," said Xue Lanying as she got up and walked a certain distance away from the woman, not showing any emotion on her face.
Of course, behind this fragile mask, Xue Lanying was shaken to her core.
'If not for Qin Song, I could have been killed one thousand times, no, even after he notified me, she could have still killed me,' thought Xue Lanying as she felt the wind suddenly become more chilly.
As she thought of this, Xue Laying then turned to Qin Song, who had thankfully noticed the woman, unaware of the emotions he was feeling at the moment.
Looking at the woman who was sitting cross-legged, merely staring at him, Qin Song couldn't help but have some complicated feeling.
'She was testing when I would notice her?' thought Qin Song as he placed his axe on his back.
Throughout the thousands of years that Qin Song had lived, he had encountered countless cultivators, weak and strong, some even at the Major Transcendence Realm, but none of them gave him a feeling similar to the person in front of him.
Even though Qin Song couldn't place his finger on it, he felt as though this woman was different from the other cultivators he had seen, and was similar to him.
At this moment, none of the three beings here were aware that the other two were feeling shocked at the moment.
...
Encountering someone without any sort of pre-determined fate was a first for Xu Yue, but the moment Xu Yue got a better look at him, she couldn't help but feel somewhat shocked
'He comprehended existence??' thought Xu Yue as she stared at the man in front of her with doubt on her face.
...
As she listened to Qin Song's story, Xu Yue, who had already calmed down, couldn't help but shake her head.
"You don't have to worry, even though I haven't seen anyone like you before, I see that you have found your own path," said Xu Yue, causing Qin Song to fall into doubt.
"My own path?"
"Unlike other cultivators, you did not begin cultivating intentionally, but rather, your own instinct led you to become more powerful, because of this, you have embarked on a completely different path compared to normal cultivators, as for whether this path is weaker than stronger than normal cultivating, I can't say for sure," said Xu Yue, causing Qin Song to nod, still feeling rather lost.
As she stared at the scene in front of her, Xue Lanying couldn't help but touch her chin, feeling even more lost than her Dao Companion.
