"Wh-What?" Venator asked, confused as he looked at his hand, now only holding onto a grip without a blade. Terror struck him, his only weapon now was shattered. Destroyed and sent scattered around the snow in small bits.
He quickly got back up, staring at the users, their leader already back to fight, axe in hand a black smoke consuming the other. Around Venator, the domes were destroyed as their occupants escaped from it, they surrounded Venator quickly as he stood idly, still in shock as to what to do next without his weapon.
They all looked visibly tired, even the leader taking deep breaths.
Venator dropped the handle, his hands soon formed orbs, one of ice and one of blue flame, slowly he looked back at the users, staring at the leader specifically, filled with eyes of hatred and rage. Now filled with a heart of anger, Venator charged forward, with no plan in mind but a desire to kill the leader and his users, no longer sensing honor in the fight.
He ran forward, with his fist of flame, he readied to strike the leader's face. As the hand was inches away, Venator felt the disorientation and confusion, but the magic came too late. Sparks of heat flew as Venator's fist landed hard on the leader's face, a large spot of charred skin spawned on his cheek.
In little delay, Venator struck the leader again kicking him down on the ground.
He threw fire and ice back at the surrounding users, fighting back with deepened anger from the loss of his blade.
Taking a step forward, he kicked the leader's face, knocking him out for now as a small dome formed above him.
With the leader down once again, Venator glared at the users behind him. With ice and flame, a fight commenced.
Streaks struck against one another as the two elements clashed against each other. Getting more and more violent as the fires grew in size and the barrage of ice shards became stronger as the users slowly got picked off.
Venator approached slowly while keeping them down with the bombardment of 2 elements.
The elements in his hands became stronger, slowly inching closer to the users.
In seconds, the ice and fire broke through, users burst into flames while others became soaked in shards of ice, burying inside of their bodies as they fell dead.
The fight came to a quick end as Venator's rage began fizzling out, killing the users in a rapid fashion, leaving the leader as the last one standing.
Before he could turn, he felt the disorientation once more, knocking into the ground while the remaining anger left encouraged him to get up again.
He lumbered forward slowly, approaching the dome's blurred image.
Both his hands still glowing a bright light. In a snap of his fingers, the dome shattered, inside the leader was conscious, quickly standing up. As he stood up, Venator raised his arm, releasing an unrelenting line of burning fire at the man,
The leader ran around, trying to miss the fire as he kept the magic on Venator, approaching closer with an axe in hand.
Upon reaching him, he readied his axe. Before a strike could be landed, Venator's fist slammed into the leader's face, the axe fell to the ground as the leader was thrown on his back. causing small bits of ice to become embedded and the skin around it beginning to freeze.
"Normally i fight with honor against magic users, only becoming hateful against bandits and the like, but you...." Venator grabbed the leader by his coat, dragging him through the snow towards the burning pyre in front of him.
"You are quite the exception, here i thought you were simply a bunch of magic users abusing powers who had a god call someone down to kill them." Venator talked.
"Wait- God?" The leader became confused. Venator raised the man from the ground, still using a single hand, his back was against the burning flame, staring at each other's eyes in a stark difference of emotion.
"Yes, a god. Now meet him." Venator threw the man pyre, witnessing as the leader's body vanished inside the flames, not even a silhouette was present.
Venator took a deep sigh of relief as the fight ended, looking around at the camp he fought in, burning and destroyed in different parts while bodies lay around. He walked back to the handle, picking it up along with the axe that was dropped.
Once more, calmed down, he felt the mix of heat and frost. Seeing the destruction he wrought and the bodies he lay on the ground.
"Finally, that god hopefully is gonna give me another reward for this broken sword." He glanced at the handle after he spoke.
A portal slowly formed in front of him, preparing to leave the cold.
He stepped inside it, quickly his body embraced the warmth of where he arrived. The god's home.
"Back already?" The god laughed, Venator turned around. Seeing the god on a chair as he drank from a large wooden cup.
"Indeed, and i lost my sword in the process." He raised up the handle for the god to see,
"A sad sight to witness indeed, one of the most disheartening things a warrior will suffer, is their weapon being destroyed in front of their eyes. A weapon of experience and coated with the blood of so many, gone." The god stood up, speaking in a sympathetic voice as he approached Venator.
"What of that axe? Will that be your new weapon?"
"Perhaps. but i still wish to wield a sword once more." Venator replied. The god began thinking, placing down his cup on the table.
"Very well, a fair compensation for not only attacking and killing all the users, but also for attacking one of the main wolfskin camps. an impressive feat, not to mention the cold. If you don't mind, do you wish to rest and take a sip of the wine here?" A cup materialized out of thin air as the god took his own cup back.
"A chance to rest from your travels, and to sit in a place as great as this." The god continued.
"Very well, though i still desire a new blade after mine was destroyed."
Venator sat down on a vacant chair, grabbing the cup. The god returned to his own seat.
