Capítulo 38: The Ugly Defeat

 FORT ORION, HESPERION ALLIANCE STATE, STRATA CONTINENT

"Colonel! Are you ok?" Luke asked. Colonel Joe receded a few steps and sat down on a nearby stool inside the Medic's tent.

"I get it now. It's all a trap." Joe said, his eyes fell blankly towards the ground, shoulders hunkered down from defeat.

"What are you saying, sir?" Luke said, he had his scanner on his right hand but he left there hanging on his side, waiting for a moment to respectfully scan the Movement Leader.

"We stormed Orion Fort easily, with only minimal ground infantry defense from the Bugmen forces. We destroyed their cannons easily. We counted the alien bodies that we killed, only two thousand of them. Not even an eighth of Fort Orion. They had left this base," Colonel said.

"It's still a win, sir," Luke said even though he knew the presence of the bioweapon. "Sir, if you let me, I will scan you with this."
