Capítulo 123: Lily's Payback

Morris found a quiet spot and called Lilith. As soon as she answered, he said, "Lily, Uncle Henry just told me Alicia was in a car crash and she's in the hospital. You should go see her."

Alicia reminded Morris of his mom when she was younger, especially her kind and gentle ways. He felt a unique connection with her, different from the usual feelings between a man and a woman. Wanting to help her after the accident but feeling awkward about their relationship, he asked Lily to go instead.

Lilith was really upset when she heard the news. "What happened to Alicia? When did it happen? Why didn't anyone tell me?" she asked.

"I just found out too. Call her and see how she's doing."

"Okay, I'll call her right now."

In less than 30 minutes, Lilith hurried into the hospital. She was in such a rush that she forgot to buy flowers, which she usually brought when visiting someone in the hospital.
