Mellissa left the room silently, her steps firm as she headed towards the warehouse to instruct someone to gather the ingredients available in the organization. As for how to gather the rest, she wasn't bothered; she knew Taylor wouldn't ask if it wasn't important. This meant she would have to go back and ask for a favor from that man, even though she didn't agree with his methods. Taylor, seated among the numerous scattered documents, pictures, and scrolls littered on his desk, watched Miranda leave with a glint in his eyes. He was aware of her so-called hidden identity, and he knew he had left her with no choice but to meet 'him.' But it was the best option at the moment. He had a feeling he was on the verge of finding the hope the first prophet had been looking for all his life. He could only hope that the stubborn old man wouldn't make things too difficult for his own daughter.
