/ Fantasy / Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys
Resumen
The ancient empire was on its last legs, the nascent federation echoed with the roar of steam, slumbering gods gradually awoke, and colossal beasts that vanished in the primordial era were slowly emerging.
When Laine arrived in another world, a magical profession panel awakened within him as well.
Laine believed that if a person's life could keep growing stronger, one day they would certainly be able to control their own destiny and stand shoulder to shoulder with the gods!

Escribe una reseñaThe mc is boring. He’s kind of a one trick pony. He quickly gets a skill that lets him double his strength for a bit and just keeps playing the pig to catch the tiger. The author tries to offset this by making him tired after use but he’s always convinently fighting one on one with nobody around so the same trick works over and over. This would be fine if he was the one initializing the conflicts, I would even appreciate an mc that styles himself around a strategy, but as a pure hearted mc he’s very reactionary. He does initiate one fight but it’s so completely different from how he normally acts it comes across as almost bipolar.
Ive really been enjoying this book. It has unique ideas and is a fun read, but I was reading the book over view and I’m at chapter 90 and the MC has never been called Laine that I’ve seen. It’s mostly been Rein.
Man it’s a great concept but the mtl in the later chapters is painful to read. Try if you don’t have nothing else.
I feel like the title was a lie and the story is grindy as heck. The character is obsessive yet extremely impulsive and annoying. The author also keeps injecting “gift” scenarios into the story and no linear even progress. It’s grind then jump. Grind and jump. As far as wizard goes. Their isn’t a whiff of magic at all. Supernatural, cultivation power yes but magic as we interpret wizard is not there at all. I think maybe he means the Chinese idiom of wizard which is old virgin. Very disappointing and do not recommend.
A rather enjoyable read so far (for the free chapters). The main character is hard working with a happy attitude. No main issues with grammar and english, is it a translation? Small critic : sentences are too often too short with an overuse of the exclamation mark and some idioms seem asian (chinese?). I wish the interactions with the sheriff were handled better and that chance encounters will remain rare as they seem too forced by the author and remove agency from the main character. Same thing when people force the main character’s into a decision that seal his whole future and he happily agrees without taking the time to think about it or discuss it with his familly or more knowledgeable people about the consequences those choices entail to... especially when you just isekaied a few days ago into a completly different society. As most isekai, the previous life, familly, story, has no impact so far. I appreciate how the MC used his first sundays, it’s an exemple of agency and shows his character. Beside that, it’s a gpod start. Good luck author!
