Capítulo 111: Chapter 111: Business Maneuvering, Clark Encounters an Ambush

"Nalan, are you here today because of the new movie from Nirvana Group?"

Hearing Hank's question, Nalan Bai smiled gracefully: "Indeed, nothing can be hidden from Uncle Pym. Actually, I wanted to discuss this matter with Clark, but that guy went off to train martial arts again and even turned off his phone. I had no choice but to seek your help."

Hank nodded slightly, acknowledging that Nalan Bai was much more rational compared to Hope and Mindy's relentless nagging for their brother's (or brother's) attention.

"Let's hear it."

Nalan Bai sighed, "Nirvana Films has made a name for itself with the TV series 'Game of Thrones,' even achieving overnight fame. However, we haven't made any moves in the realm of live-action movies yet. If we don't act fast, we might miss the summer blockbuster season."

She then took out a screenplay from her briefcase and placed it in front of Hank: "This is a movie script adapted from 'Battle Through the Heavens' by a top Hollywood screenwriter. Could you please take a look for me? If there are no issues, I plan to start filming immediately."

Hank glanced at the script cover, which read "Horse Breaks the Heavens."

Shaking his head slightly, Hank didn't even reach for the script but said seriously to Nalan Bai, "You're still too young, falling for their psychological tactics."

Nalan Bai was puzzled by Hank's sudden remark.

Hank continued, "If I'm not mistaken, the pressure you're feeling comes from Yena Films. They've given you the impression that you must hurry to turn 'Battle Through the Heavens' into a movie to maximize profits, haven't they?"

Nalan Bai was startled and then nodded, "Indeed, they offered a significant amount to acquire the movie adaptation rights for 'Battle Through the Heavens,' but I didn't agree."

"But your mind has been influenced by their actions," Hank shook his head. "You're already off-balance, and they've achieved their goal."

Nalan Bai frowned slightly, "I still don't quite understand."

Hank sighed, "Since you don't understand, let me explain clearly."

Pausing, he added, "Before Clark's return, Nirvana Films stood out in the animation movie sector thanks to his scripts. But it was hardly considered a top Hollywood giant. However, with Clark's return and the massive success of his stories, Nirvana Films has become a significant threat to the established Hollywood giants."

"At this time, you shouldn't be rushing into anything. You need to focus on one thing: stability."

Nalan Bai was still anxious, "But the summer blockbuster season..."

Hank waved his hand, stopping her, "What's Nirvana Films' biggest asset now? It's Clark's golden touch. Anything he writes, whether novels, animations, or TV series, sells exceptionally well. Compared to that, what's a summer blockbuster season?"

"Moreover, your first live-action movie is far more important."

"I can assure you, Hollywood's top giants are all gearing up, ready to release their best works to compete with you."

"If your first battle is a loss, it will significantly damage Clark's golden reputation. Even if he didn't write the script, people will think he's lost his touch. Don't doubt it; the old giants, led by Yena, will find a way to make the public believe this."

"And you?" Hank shook his head lightly, "You're asking me to verify someone else's script."

"If you want me to shrink a movie theater to the size of a matchbox, that's my specialty. But when it comes to scriptwriting, I know nothing!"

After Hank spoke, Nalan Bai turned pale with realization: "I... I almost made a fatal mistake."

"I understand young people are impulsive," Hank's tone softened. "Especially under the pressure you've been facing, making a mistake is understandable."

"My advice is to wait for Clark's return. Don't rush, even if it means waiting six months, to decide on your first live-action movie."

Nodding, Nalan Bai put away the script and said sincerely, "I understand now, thank you for your guidance, Uncle Pym."

After Nalan Bai left, Hank's phone suddenly rang. Glancing at the caller ID, he couldn't help but get angry.

Without hesitation, he answered the call and immediately started scolding, "You little rascal, finally decided to call back? These past days..."

On the other end of the phone, Clark instinctively moved the phone away from his ear until Hank tired himself out, then said, "Don't be angry yet, I'm in Siberia and have made a significant discovery!"

"What are you doing in Siberia?" Hank asked, quickly focusing on the key point, "What did you find?"

Clark's gaze fell on a red and blue shield covered with a thin layer of ice beneath his feet: "It's a CD from the past."

...

On the other end of the phone, Clark looked beyond the shield to a man wrapped in the American flag, frozen in ice.

Inside the frozen airplane, Clark indeed found the seventy-year-old "Iceman" and his special tray.

Unexpectedly, searching for him years ago yielded nothing, but now, nine years later, he accidentally discovered him.

Was this a case of "Effortlessly, willows grow and flowers bloom"?

Or were these encounters with the Hulk, finding Captain America, and the upcoming challenges all deliberately arranged by the Ancient One?

After briefly sharing his discovery with Hank and asking him to bring Yi Long for support, Clark then shrank the frozen Captain America and the Hydra fighter jet for transportation.

Standing atop the ruins of the iceberg, he proudly said, "Since you've been here for a while, why not show yourselves?"

Following Clark's words, seven figures emerged from the shadows.

Among them, four were tall and burly, resembling black bears, two were in military attire, one unarmed, and the other wielding a pair of revolvers.

Leading them was a white woman dressed as a Sorcerer Supreme, all emanating an uncomfortable, evil yet powerful aura.

Without needing Clark's superhuman senses, their appearances alone were telling.

Each of the seven had dark circles under their eyes, their skin cracked like scales, especially with a red mark on their foreheads resembling a bull's head or the character "艹."
