Despite drinking three cups of coffee, he still passed out after a while, a testament to how exhausted he was.

I ended up carrying him to our house and laying him on the couch, giving him a spare pillow and blanket to tuck him in.

"Brendan's pretty cute isn't he?" Lian Li giggled as I came back to the shop.

I shook my head, "His situation is really unfortunate, I would say."

"Well… If it was you, I would be doing the same because it's you."
