Capítulo 246: First Day Of School

Claire was more nervous than she should have been on her first day of school. It wasn't like this was anything new—she had gone to college before, even if her old campus was smaller. 

On top of her worries about being able to handle her load between working full-time, being a full-time student, and still raising Ethan she was concerned about making friends. If she wasn't on good terms with people in her classes, it would be difficult to make study groups or find trustworthy people to do group projects with. 

That was the more practical reason for wanting to make friends but it was also because whoever she met at school would be her primary social contact aside from her coworkers. She would only see Alex and Ethan other than in passing a few days a week with her new schedule.
