Capítulo 368: Five Years Passed By
After a series of consecutive major events, the entire world was at peace once again, and peaceful time sure passed quickly.
In the blink of an eye, five years had gone by. In the first year, Shanks had taken over a part of the former Totto Land and, for some reason, engaged in a one-on-one battle with Whitebeard. It was this battle that solidified his position and made him the Emperor reigning over New World.
The titles of the "First Emperor" and the "Second Emperor" remained, but the Second Emperor was now Red Hair Shanks instead of Big Mom.
As for Big Mom, shortly after being defeated and leaving the New World by the Vongola family, she filled the vacancy among the Seven Warlord of the Sea due to Demon Spade's removal and became a legal pirate that the World Government acknowledged.
That sparked heated discussions for a time, but it also made Seven Warlords of the Sea stronger than ever. Although Big Mom had been defeated by Vongola Family and kicked out of New World, she was that feared Big Mom nonetheless, instantly making her the most formidable member among the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
Furthermore, she didn't have to answer the Marines' call, but she did have to obey the World Government's order that would be passed from CP0 agents.
Despite being a member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Big Mom didn't do anything. She merely searched an island on Grand Line and started her plan to unify all races in an island over once again.
However, Big Mom's presence in Grand Line might have an impact on Luffy, who would set sail several years later and earn the title of "Seven Warlords of the Sea Slayer." Straw Hat Pirates was quite lucky that they only ran into Crocodile and Gecko Moria during their journey to Grand Line. If they were to cross paths with Big Mom, it would likely be the end of their journey.
Of course, it would be a different story if someone like Dragon, Shanks, or Garp were to come to Luffy's aid.
During the same year, the Marines suffered another huge blow. The Marine training ship led by the former Admiral Z was attacked by pirates, and all of his beloved students except for Ain and Binz were killed. Fortunately, Z didn't lose his arm because of his fight with Vongola Family.
However, losing his students infuriated Z!
In the second year, Holy Land Mary Geoise held the "Levely," primarily to discuss Dragon. His Revolutionary Army had rapidly grown, making the kings and queen uneasy. Even the Five Elders noticed an unusual threat from the Revolutionary Army. While it might not be as powerful as the Vongola family, Dragon's ideology aimed to undermine the World Government's whole system!
During this period, Dragon personally visited Secon Island and tried to persuade Giotto to join the Revolutionary Army, but Giotto flatly rejected him. However, Dragon already saw this coming. He stayed with Vongola family for about half a year and sought Giotto's guidance regarding ideology like before. With Robin's assistance, he recorded and compiled it into a book. Afterward, he left the Vongola family to continue his own endeavors.
In that same year, with the help of Millefiore Family, Vinsmoke family had established their dominance in North Blue. Vinsmoke Family was acknowledged as North Blue's ruler on the open surface, but Millefiore Family was the one pulling the strings behind the scenes.
After a few battles, one of the Real Six Funeral Wreaths, Torikabuto, also joined Millefiore Family's rank.
In the same year, Verde completed Ugetsu Asari's Box Weapon of Mass Destruction, and then resumed creating the next Vongola Box Weapon. Meanwhile, Talbot, the master craftsman, had also finished upgrading all Varia members' gears. However, no one out there knew about this already. After all, no one dared to challenge the Vongola Family unless they lived under the rock.
In the third year, Tesoro's Golden Paradise truly became the world's most visited place. He was the "Golden Emperor" to the public, while in the Family, he was the Financial Minister.
Seeing Tesoro's success, the happiest one was Issho. As the leader of the Vongola Family's External Advisors, he had finally managed to gather a group of formidable individuals over the years. That young lad named Sabo was also a promising young man, but he was still a diamond in the rough. Among the External Advisors, he was only one person whose power could truly reach the level of an Admiral, and while Tesoro had come close, he was not there yet.
Nothing extraordinary occurred in the next two years. However, five years later, on this day, something extremely significant for the Vongola Family took place. It was because of this event that all Vongola Family's bigwigs had gathered on Secon Island, and the entire island was filled with festive mood.
Even world-renowned figures from the New World, Emperors of the Underworld, and kings from various countries such as Dressrosa, had rushed to Saken Island to witness this grand event.
Around a month ago, they had received the news that the strongest person in New World, Vongola Primo, would hold a wedding in three days!
