Magnus pushed him away and patted the nonexistent dirt on his white shirt as if he were disgusted by his touch.

Dante was used to his coldness. It didn't tamper the smile on his face. Though, the area where Magnus hit him was stinging. He finally knew where his woman got her knack for violence. Magnus was not a good role model. Still, for a man to visit his in-laws, he needs to suck in any complaints he has. "I'm here to discuss the marriage proposal and dowry." He turned to Magnus, wanting to seek his opinion, despite being unnecessary.

Magnus clenched his teeth. His eyes engulfed with animosity upon the mention of marriage. Although he was already aware of the two's intimate deeds last night, he was not reconciled to letting them tie the knot. "I object. My sister will not marry the likes of you." His fury reduced a little upon announcing his stance.
