"Crystal, you better leave. Unless, you want me to do something to you."
Valac kept his cool, forcing his expression to remain composed despite the internal screaming in his mind.
The system's curse glowed mockingly in his peripheral vision, practically daring him to give in to any desire. He didn't know whether to curse or laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
I hope the developer goes bald.
Valac let his fingers slowly slide off Crystal's arm, though he lingered just a second longer than necessary.
"You should really go, princess," Valac murmured with a hint of warning in his voice.
"Unless you're here to… 'further demonstrate' your gratitude?"
Crystal's mouth opened, then shut. She tilted her head as a sudden spark of defiance struck her innocent eyes. "And if I am?"
Valac raised an eyebrow, not missing a beat.
Oh God! She's not backing down. Why, system? Why? Don't you want to have grandchildren?
Sorry, was busy today and got real tired to write two chapters.
