Capítulo 7: Chapter 7.
Three moons has passed since the war started with the northern river king. Cregan left with 6000 warriors behind him. While it left making of the new capital difficult and the security of winters village. Many people took this as an advantage to do horrible things this past moons. Thinking a child won't do anything but they were serly mistaken when guards has taken them into custody and put in a cold cell. Brandon did not move against them and watch where they would go to hide but Brandon never forget the atrocity that they did to his people.
When the next day came everyone in winters village took notice of the guards around the area more than they used to. Than they seen it people in chains coming out in a line more than 20 or them. And the prince followed by four guards around him, everyone bowed there heard and watch was going on. In the center not far from winters hall. They seen one of the guards that put a wooden block down for beheading. Meny of them tried to run only to be hit on the side, flinching to get back in place. What fallowed was men with tears in there eyes and snot coming out there nose.
All eyes were on the young prince, everyone can see he had that cold look in his eyes. The weight in his steps can be heard in the center. When Brandon got in the middle area he look around everyone that was there, standing and watching silently.
"You all know me I am Brandon stark of Winters hall, I came before you because we have captured the men that harm us in this past moon. Ràpe, thieft, and murder. We caught everyone that harm the people of my home. Take a look." Brandon gestured to the 20 people in chains behind him. "I am sorry that it took this long. I came to make amends to you, my people that I swore to protect." The dawarves and giants made it to the center and watched from afar. Everyone watched with intent, no one look away. Seeing what will happen next.
Brandon call out sword and the guard beside pull out his sword and gave it to him with unease. Brandon embedded the tip of the blade on the ground and spoke "I Brandon Stark, prince of the North, prince of Winters hall, here by sentence you to die, any last word." The first person beg for forgiveness as he was a raper caught. The men around brought him to his knees. Brandon lifted the sword over his head with two trembling hands, In one swing Brandon had behead his first person in this life and his old one. He look the at his hands and seen them started to tremble and his breathing became more erratic. Before anyone can notice he steeled his heart and mind on what he's doing. Brandon beheaded 15 people for there atrocities they committed while he took the hands of the five for thieft.
When he was done Brandon passed the sword back and started to walk back to winters hall. And when straight into his room. He started to hyperventilating and shacking, he ran to the bucket in his room to throw up what he ate today. After some time he started to calm himself while crying into his hands. Than he felt it a gentle touch him, he looked up and sees his mother with a sad but gentle smile on her face. Brandon throw himself into his mothers arms and cried saying sorry for what he did. Hela only gently rocked her son back and forth, whispering gentle words into him. After some time he moved away to look at his mother, just as beautiful as every. He can see his mother slowly fade away, Brandon with a sad smiles kisses his mother on the cheek goodbye.
-two moon-
The cold breeze that hit Brandon face brought him out of his stur. He looked around and noticed snowflakes coming down, he open the palm of his hand to see them land and smelt. As Brandon look over the village below he has a smile on his face. A raven came yesterday and informed him that they pushed the northern river king back to his keep and on the last leg of the war.
A couple farms house were built to keep livestock warm during the winters and many proved successful. The plow also came along great but in its early stages it was heavily worked on to make it better. The wall is coming along wonderfully most of the front walls and building were done. The dwarves help mines out area rush with materials, gold, silver and iron were commonly found around the back of the mountain. The rocks that came off the mountain were made to make better house no wooden ones. Men, woman and children help out were they can. Children help moving Little Rock's and the woman making sure the people are feed and warm. The dwarves and giants got along with men and are fascinated about them. Still after moons of being here the people never looked down on them or were badmouth. Just kind and loving. The dwarves introduce more alcohol beverages and Brandon took opportunity to try and find different flavours. With the dwarves help but Brandon made sure not to do it around the village.
-timeskip one winter-
The war finish up moons ago in the north cregan won but has new scars on him. It made him look more fierce. But cregan didn't come alone he brought a girl with him. The daughter of the late river king. She's 12 winters old, brown long hair, pale skin. Looks like a young hailee steinfeld. She was scared at first but with time with Brandon and the dwarves she came to accept what happen. Even though she's older she knew that Brandon will become her husband when they come of age. Over time she understood why her father lost, they had giants and dwarves with them. And the power of the gods with them.
-timeskip 1 winter-=1year
Brandon and Astrid has gotten close over this past winter and he had shown her the top of the mountain. Over looking the village and the construction of the new capital of the north. The first layer of the wall is completed and now are working on the second area of the wall that will be higher. Everything was done correctly the plumbing system and the building to filter said water so the water won't turn brown with shit and polluted.
With the dwarves and giants help everything got done in remarkably speed. No faults or issues. The village started to change from wooden buildings to stone with a hint of dwarves architect. Rune symbols craved in the building itself. The built in storage in the ground thanks to Brandon's invention to make meat last longer and won't spoil. Ice cut out from the river, blades that cut ice with ease. The ships became newer with more room for peoples once it can hold 40, now thanks to Brandon they can hold 60 now with added storage for longer voyages. Only a handful were remade to hold that many men but many stayed the same. The dawing of new ships were put away in the Starks hidden world.
Brandon decided to have a couple days off and fetch Astrid and Thorin to show them there Hidden world. The giants and dwarves made a makeshift path up the mountain. They took a couple horses while thorin took a donkey. They made there way through the mountain pass because Brandon wanted to show them. After riding for some time they seen the opening. When they made it out astrid is in awe as was thorin, they looked at Brandon and he just smiled. We're they are they are probably 300ft above sea level. When they down down to the valley they maybe 200ft above sea level. When they past the valley it opens up more to a wider area that would take a week from top to bottom. And side to side, a week and a half to make it.
They can see the giant tree the reaches for the sky, it would take a couple days to reach it. Since there is no path ways to it. They made there way down towards the land to see, they see water that comes from the mountain that made a river down towards the valley. To the open area. After sometime looking at the senery they seen animals that are the same from outside but what shocked Brandon the most was that extinct animals were here. The aurochs, a Woolly mammoth, the dwarf elephant in the distance and many more. Brandon can see a dire wolf which Astrid can see to. She had a hint of fear in her but seeing Brandon it went away. He had a spear and axe on him. While thorin had a axe on him.
After a couple days they seen the dire wolf was watching them but not moving towards them. After a while the wolf came into the clearing infront of Brandon and his companions. Watching there every movements checking if there a threat. Brandon got of his horse and slowly walked towards the dire wolf. Both eyes each other with interest. A boy that is eleven winters old while the wolf is up to the donkey size. Both meet half way while Astrid held her breath and thorin to. Both watched as the bowed to each other showing respect. In one fell swoop the dire wolf pounced on Brandon only to tackle him and lick his face. Both had a perplexing gaze thinking that Brandon will get mould down but he didn't. They watched as the chase and run into each other who would win which was the wolf because of his size.
After that they travelled together to the giant tree which took a couple days. The night was just as beautiful as the night sky shines, thorin talked about his home and the stars he seen. The metal making and the whole of the dwarf kingdom which gladen both Brandon and Astrid. The wolf just layed down next to them only getting up to go feed himself. The next day they're close to the bases of the tree which brought them harmony and can feel the magic coming off it.
At the base of the mountain they arched there head back to look up in the trees and can see birds flying without a care. As the enter the tree from the based they can see the tree roots going up the a spiral staircase. Which none of them wanted to go up even Brandon didn't go. So they stayed for a couple days looking at the tree and exploring seeing all types of animals. Some days has passed and the dire wolf with them brought his family with him. 6 pups and 1 female. The pups are the size of a 7 moon puppy while they are only 2 moons old from what it looks like.
After the fifth night they decided to leave back to Winters village. Passing the beautiful senery and animals alike, looking back they can see the tree thinking they are that small compared to that. After making it to the pass they looked at the dire wolf thinking it will go back but it fallowed them out and his family right behind him. After a half an hour of riding slowly they can see the sunset making the pass looking astonishing. The horses and donkey got used to the wolf but still skittish when they pass infront of them.
-timeskip in town-
When Brandon emerge from the mountain pass word has spread on what he brung from the mountain. A giant wolf that's as tall as a small pony and growing. People from all over the village made there way towards winters hall. Pointing and gesturing towards the wolf. Murmurs were heard by Astrid and thorin. The giants and dwarves referred to the dire wolf beside him to Fenrir children. Even thorin is uneasy around the wolf always had his eye on him. Cregan came out the halls doors and sees his son with a giant wolf with an unease ratch on his face.
"Son… what and who is that." With unease in his voice.
"Well father that's a dire wolf and the thing I got no name for him. And since he is the leader of this pack why don't you name him and I will take one of his pups." Brandon said with a nonchalant voice.
Cregan looked at his son with a face but he quickly looked at the wolf before him. Both walk toward each other and eyed one another. Before they stood infront each prher about a feet apart. A tension was in the air but it quickly went away when the wolf went towards cregan and rubs us head against his chest. Cregan did the same. Loud murmurs we're heard that the Stark line are blessed by the gods. They see Brandon carrying a pup in his arm, the pup is play bitting him and Astrid is playing with his ears. Brandon heard his father thanking hela and Odin for the gift. Brandon looked up with a smile.

And done. Sorry if this story feels like a filler chapter I'm just trying to get the foundations to the Stark beginning down so you won't think oc will get his powers just like that. So expect Brandon life in timeskips. And I'll post in the comments of what Brandon's capital of the north looks like, which I hope you guys already noticed where I'm going with this but if you don't than don't worry.
I'll probably began the Vikings show in chapter 10 or 11.
