In truth, Kaido was not willing to go to such lengths for one person, but he had no choice. Now that the Beast Pirates had just been established, it was a critical time for recruiting new members. Quinn casually sat down on the ground and asked, "Boy, what is the name of your pirate crew?"

Gangplank grinned. "The name of my pirate crew is Whitebeard."

Quinn jumped up in fright, and the cigarette in his mouth fell. King was so startled that his eyes widened, and he turned pale.
Kaido was also shocked, but mostly he still couldn't believe it.
"What did you say the name of your pirate crew was?"
Quinn seized Gangplank by the collar and asked loudly.
"Get away."
At this moment, Kaido stepped in and pushed Quinn aside. He grabbed Plank's collar with one hand and looked at him with piercing eyes. "You said you are a member of the Whitebeard Pirates?"
Plank smiled miserably. "What, are you scared?"
"It's over, boss! We seem to have offended the Whitebeard Pirates! What should we do?"
Quinn was terrified and completely flustered.
"Shut up!" Kaido scolded, glaring at Gangplank. "You are lying to me. How can the Whitebeard Pirates be in the East Sea?"
"Then what do you think it is?" Gangplank pointed to their ship in the distance.
There, the flag of the Whitebeard Pirates was fluttering in the wind.
"It's really Whitebeard!"
Kaido's expression changed completely. He couldn't understand how he could encounter that old guy with the white beard in the East Sea.
Kaido and Whitebeard were similar in that they both had a history with the Rocks Pirates. However, the difference was that despite having both been crew members, their statuses were completely different.
Kaido had been a young trainee crew member of the Rocks Pirates, whereas Whitebeard was a prominent crew member known for his combat prowess. Kaido had once had the privilege of witnessing Whitebeard's terrifying power firsthand.
Although he had only met him once, since that time, he vowed never to be an enemy of this old man again.
Kaido regretted his previous actions. He had only been enjoying Gangplank's battle and had completely ignored the pirate group anchored not far away. Now, he regretted not paying attention to it sooner.

"Boss, what should we do?" King asked as he approached.
Among the three, he was the calmest because he had never met Whitebeard. Thus, he did not know the extent of Whitebeard's terror. Even though he had heard stories about it, he remained ignorant and fearless.
Quinn, having never seen Whitebeard, also reacted differently from King in his panic.
Kaido quickly calmed down. There was no point in panicking now. The main thing was to find a solution.
He knew he wouldn't be able to defeat Whitebeard. Although Kaido was confident in his strength, compared to the monster that was Whitebeard, his own abilities were insufficient.
"Run!"
In just a moment, this idea came to Kaido's mind.
He looked at Quinn and King. "Hurry and prepare the boat! We must leave this island before that old guy Whitebeard comes back."
King hesitated. "Our ship is parked on the other side of the island. It will take a lot of time to get there."
Kaido gritted his teeth and said, "King, take me and fly there."
Quinn was dumbfounded. "What about me?"
King looked Quinn up and down, frowned, and said, "Your weight... you'd better figure it out on your own."
Quinn suddenly panicked. "Boss, you can't leave me behind! I only acted against this kid after listening to your orders. You can't let me go!"
"Shut up!" Kaido replied, feeling a headache from Quinn's dramatics. It was true that it would be too late to rush to the other side of the island now, and Whitebeard could return at any moment. Time wouldn't wait for anyone.
Kaido looked around and suddenly spotted a small fishing boat on the sea.
Isn't that ship coming?
Kaido shouted excitedly, "King, go and grab that boat for me!"
"Yes!"
King transformed into his pterosaur form again and flew towards the small fishing boat on the sea.
"Boss, what is he going to do?"
Quinn pointed at Gangplank on the ground and made a gesture of wiping his neck, the meaning of which was clear.
Kaido was furious and nearly picked up his mace to give Quinn a fierce hit. "We have already offended the old guy Whitebeard's crew by attacking him. Do you want him to follow us? Shall we fight to the death?"
"But if he dies, won't no one know that we did it?"
Quinn complained, almost in tears. He was actually the most afraid of Whitebeard among the three.
Kaido found himself almost laughing at Quinn's naivety. He pointed at Quinn's foolish face and said, "Didn't you see how many people witnessed us just now? If they report this to Whitebeard, do you think that old guy will let us go?"
Quinn suddenly fell silent, deterred from saying anything more.
"Boss, the ship is here!"
King returned swiftly, bringing with him a small boat that was only about three meters long.
The poor fisherman had been thrown into the sea and was now struggling to swim back to shore.
Kaido and Quinn approached the shore together. Quinn looked at the boat, then at himself, and hesitated. "Can this boat carry all three of us?"
Not to mention three; it seemed it could barely manage one person.
King's face remained expressionless. "I have no choice but to squeeze in."

"Hurry up! Paddle faster!"
Quinn rowed with all his might, sweating profusely from exhaustion, but Kaido kept urging him on.
Quinn wanted to argue that this was already the fastest the boat could go, but it was clear the small fishing boat itself wasn't made for speed, and with all three of them on board, it was already impressive that they had managed to stay afloat.
Rowing the boat while holding back tears, Quinn couldn't comprehend what kind of misfortune they had brought upon themselves.
Why trouble themselves over that little pirate?
