Alex noticed my gaze at him and awkwardly scratched his head. "That was the plan. But we'll have to see if this could work or not."
"How would Eden benefit from this organization?" Even though Alex had explained the purpose of the project, he still hasn't answered my fundamental question.
"This organization will help maintain our company's good name, and it's not a bad idea to have connections with important figures while they were still an unpolished gem." Alex smiled confidently, without a trace of doubt on his face.
If you asked me, I would say that Alex was being too optimistic about this. There is no guarantee that the 'seeds' will be a successful person in the future. Then again, Eden was a gigantic company with an almost unlimited source of capital. Funding one person or two was like a drop of the ocean for them. Furthermore, I bet they wouldn't choose just any kid to take part in this.
