Chapter Fourteen, Spar Session.

Wendy and Everett entered the training room on the lower levels, both wearing a tight, cropped tank top, and a pair of underwear.
"You can say that I gain, experience when I do what I need to do. And with a certain amount of experience, I can level up. With each level I can choose new rewards." Everett said quite honestly. He didn't plan on being transparent with his family about his system, but when it didn't seem to be something completely otherworldly, he felt it was alright to give a few details.
"Hmm... That sounds, weird..." Wendy murmured, her hand on her chin.
The two looked forward, peering through a glass wall. Through the door he and Wendy walked entered, was just a workout room. With weights, a punching bag and all sorts of equipment.
But, one of the walls was glass, and by looking through it, both he and Wendy could see a tantalizing view.
Two sweaty men, wearing nothing but tight spandex shorts, duking it out with their fists. They grappled, launching each other into walls, threw fists, sending one another into the sky and into the ground.
It was a fight of metahuman proportions, far beyond anything one would see in a normal ring.
"So basically what you're saying is that your Ancient is treating you like a RPG video game character? Can you get skills and stuff like that? Do you have an inventory?" Wendy chuckled, sarcastically calling Everett out.
But when her taunting was accompanied with silence, she spun around, making direct eye contact with Everett who was behind her.
There was a surprised but impressed smile on his face.
"Wow, right on the dot..." He said, nodding his head. He walked past his awe stricken mother, reaching the door to the sparring room.
With a few taps of the keypad, the door unlocked, Everett pushing through while Wendy followed behind.
"So you have a spatial storage?..." She scratched her head, the two continuing to chat while they decided to place themselves against the thick fiber glass wall.
Luther curved his body to the side, dodging Noah's strike. His palm grabbed Noah's forearm, reeling back his other hand. His fist was launched at Noah's face, the boy ducking, dropping all the way to the floor.
With his arm still in Luther's grasp, he swept his leg, knocking Luther's of balance.
He fell backwards, reaching his hands out and pushing off of them. He flipped backwards, betraying any notion of him having low body control because of his size.
"Should I jump in?" Everett whispered, a smile on his face.
"And what do you get out of that?" Wendy questioned.
"Some fun!"
Luther and Noah threw a punch at each other, their fists ready to collide.
Surely one of them would get hurt by this, but they didn't care, they'd heal quickly.
Bang!
Boom!
Noah's fist ran into a solid surface, feeling it weight behind what he had hit.
Luther felt a slow momentum carrying a lot of force make contact with his fist.
In an instant, all the momentum it had was sapped, and it froze in space.
Right in between the two's fist was a face. It faced Luther's knuckles, having been sent that way when Noah sent it flying.
The two slowly pulled their arms back, rather confused.
What greeted them was someone they were familiar with.
For Luther, it was rather strange.
He moved his hand out of the way, only to be caught by surprise when he saw the most beautiful face staring back at him.
Her eyes were golden, her bangs reaching her eyes brows. He hair was slightly wild, having gone unbrushed the entire day. Her cheeks were pink, and her mouth was slightly agape. It seemed she was a little stunned, and it made sense. There was a trickle of blood falling coming from her nose and finding it's way to her lip.
Seductively, she licked it, stopping it from entering her mouth completely.
"To be honest, you're both stronger than I thought... I can't believe I can still get hurt like this even though I'm so much stronger now."
That's when it was clear to them that this was no she.
Everett craned his neck towards, Noah, gazing into his eyes while his lips upturned.
"Come on, I didn't say stop sparring did I?"
BOOM!
Everett's foot met Noah's face, forcing his cheek to turn as he stumbled a few feet to the left.
"Get out of your stupor Luther!" Another kick was sent, Everett jumping up a few feet into the air.
That was a clap, and Luther's hand had found it's place around Everett's lower leg, preventing the roundhouse kick that was aimed for his face.
But, in the next moment, Everett's foot was raised above Luther's head, crashing down like a hammer.
Contact was made, and Luther buckled, his head dropping far below the norm.
Everett landed back on the ground gracefully, both of his hands catching his fall.
Bang!
He fell to the floor, having been socked directly in the face.
He found his balance again, pushing off the floor and escaping the two kicks that aimed to incapacitate him.
Both Luther and Noah stepped hardly on the ground, the sound reverberating throughout the room.
Seeing just how powerful their kicks were, Everett couldn't help but question something seriously for the first time.
"How strong are they..."
{Noah Wyte}
[Strength: 48]
{Luther Wyte}
[Strength: 63]
His eyes opened, exhaling deeply.
"Even without a system, they were both stronger than me when I had compiled all their enhancements as my own..." He muttered.
He could clearly recall that his strength didn't even break forty after he opened the Family Tree.
"This is crazy." He scoffed excitedly, coming to a full standing position.
"Now how about you come at me! Ask questions later. Give it your all!"
