Professor Kapoor also supported her and ushered Shounak and his friends wife and himself out of the room .

Now , D and Mr.Sen were alone in the room .

None wanted to talk and an awkward silence spread in the room .

Finally Mr. Sen's patience broke ,"I'm not letting you operate on me so , you are not my doctor." He just spoke to her casually .He has seen the world, he has keen eye for people and he trusts his friends eye in discerning people , so , he knows she is nice girl .

He didn't want to be persuaded to do the surgery . It's not because of his fear for hospital, but he knows every surgery comes with its own risks , anything can happen and he didn't want to gamble on that . He would rather be with his wife for a little longer than die on operating table .

He also knows his wife's concerns for him , even if their slightest chance that his pain will reduce and he will live longer , she wants to take that . Same for his son .' Actually it's not that serious yet but they are making a big deal out of it ',he thought so.

D said nonchalantly ,"Ohk , fine by me ."

D had seen lots of patients like this and she knew best way to convince them is agreeing to their request and stating facts in front of them . That way they will surrender eventually.

She knew as doctor ,she shouldn't act like she is disrespecting patients but some patients just won't listen no matter what they do , as doctor she has to do something . And it's not everyday that she meet such headstrong patients .

Old man was confused , he thought she was here to convince him but that doesn't seem to be case here .

He didn't say anything .

She continued , " It's ok if you don't do the surgery . But it's another thing that then you wouldn't be able to see your son's wedding , you won't be there when your grandson will come into this world , you can't see your wife's beautiful face. I know , you must have gone to hospital prior to this and thus know your body's condition very well . I don't know why you are refusing to do the operation but I can assure you , I will do my best and make it so that you will enjoy your life to fullest ."

D knows she shouldn't give such answers to patients , she should only give vague answers , but what can she do , after seeing their interactions , she just want that family to remain as it is. It was blissful.
