Ren Jidian looked at his beastly form, then back at his beloved that announced his fate coldly like an unfeeling entity. Nothing but a Narrator to a tragedy, far separated from the lament of it all.

He recalled a memory, which may soon be the very last thing he recall before he was thrown to the 'Lake of Fire'

This Lake of Fire was a pit that was formed after a star had fallen, filled with flame that was of the Light, not the Void. It would surely incinerate them, their body and soul, until they no longer exist. 

As he stared into this pit, he remembered the sweet face of young Wei Sizhi. Back when none of this had ever happened. 

Back when he was still human. Not the Andras Aeon, or the Devil's son. But just a simple-minded human with simple troubles.

Like falling in love with someone he thought would never love him back.
