Capítulo 623: Savior

Lately, Lisa has been busy taking care of Vira and also her work at the office. She didn't have time to ask what was bothering her. But now, since Vira's condition has improved, and luckily she remembers the important question, she finally asks her.

Vira instantly stopped chewing. The woman with a white bandage wrapped around her head looked surprised, but within seconds her face was flat again. 

Her left hand squeezed the thick blanket covering her body, "It's nothing. However, last month, I was really unlucky. I always make mistakes at work, and I was scolded so badly that they finally cut my salary…"

Actually, Lisa was a little doubtful about Vira's answer. First, the woman does not dare to look her in the eyes when lying. Second, how could Vira get so drunk that she wanted to kill herself just because of her job?
