Capítulo 8: Cake

After a moment Kazuya calms down and simply looks away. Luckily he was quite a distance from her so she didn't notice.

He turned around and walk away from her. While walking he thought about what to gift his brand new neighbor.

'Hmm, maybe I should buy a cake.....Yeah, that should be okay' He looks around and found a cake shop. He bought a small cake and went home.

Ding Dong

Kazuya pressed the doorbell of his neighbor's house. After waiting for a bit he heard rushed footsteps. And soon the door opened and what greeted Kazuya was a handsome boy with dark blue hair.

The boy looks at Kazuya curiously, "What is it?" the boy asked politely.

Kazuya showed the cake he bought, "Ah I'm your new neighbor. I just moved in today so I thought I should greet my new neighbor. Here is a cake I bought just earlier. Please take it as a gift from me"

Itsuka Shidou stared at the super handsome boy in front of him who is smiling. After a moment he took the cake, "Ah thanks, please come in."

Kazuya accepted the invitation and entered the house. It looked the same as what is shown in anime. When they reach the living room Kazuya saw a cute girl with flaming red hair tied in twintails by two white ribbons.

She was watching television and only noticed them when Shidou called out to her.

"Kotori we have a visitor" Shidou called out to her younger sister.

"Onii-chan! who is it?" Kotori asked excitedly

Shidou was about to answer when he remembered he doesn't know the name of his visitor. Shidou smiled awkwardly at Kazuya.

Seeing Shidou doesn't know what to say Kazuya answered, "Sorry for not introducing myself. I'm Kinoshita Kazuya, please just call me Kazuya"

Shidou nodded, "Once again thank you for the cake Kazuya-san"

Kazuya waves his hands, "No problem"

While Kotori who now wore a black ribbon, she changed when Kazuya and Shidou weren't looking, stared at Kazuya in curiosity as well as suspicions.

"Nice to meet you I'm Itsuka Kotori" She introduced herself different from her previous cheerful voice it now carried authority.

Kazuya noticed the change and stared at the black ribbon. He simply smiled and didn't say anything.

He stayed a bit there as they ate the cake before going home. And he slept, that was his first day in this world.

The next day, early in the morning before the sun can even rise Kazuya already woke up. He started his training.

By the time he was done the sun already rosed up. He took a bath and changed into his uniform for Raizen High School.

Walking out of his house, he noticed Shidou and Kotori were also just going out of their home.

Seeing that he called out to them, "Hey, you two are also attending zen High School?" He asked while walking towards them.

Shidou was surprised and noticed that they wore the same uniform, "Mm I'm a first-year at Raizen High. What about you Kazuya-san?" Shidou nodded.

"Hahaha, it seems you will be my junior then. I'm gonna be the third year, I just transferred and today is the first day for me."

Kotori and Shidou look surprised "How about we go together, Kazuya-senpai?" Kotori suggested.

Kazuya nodded, "Agreed, come on let's go" He smiled happily like he was talking to an old friend.

A commotion happened at Raizen High. What's the commotion about? A super handsome guy transferred in as a third year.

News of Kazuya's transfer spread like wildfire in Raizen High. Instantly after he arrived with the siblings, he got famous.

And now he was standing in front of his new classmates. The girls' eyes lit up seeing Kazuya. While the boys cursed under their breath.

Kazuya smiled towards his classmates, "Nice to meet you all, my name is Kinoshita Kazuya. Please just call me Kazuya"

The teacher who by the way was a charming mature woman asked, "You can sit their Kazuya-kun" The teacher pointed at a free seat at the back beside the window.

Kazuya's eyes lit up, 'The protagonist seat, I couldn't believe I can sit there

Kazuya walk to his seat and sat. Soon the lessons started, Kazuya noticed he easily learned and memorized the content of the lessons.

He intends to ask the system about that. So he listened carefully and he soaked up the contents of each lesson.

When it was lunchtime remembered he didn't bring a bento. So he went to the cafeteria and bought a simple meal.

Kazuya looked around and noticed Shido sitting alone. He walks towards him and sat in front of Shido.

"Looks like you forgot your bento" Kazuya asked

Shido looked up and saw Kazuya in front of him, "Kazuya-senpai, yeah I forgot my bento. What about you senpai?" Shido smiled wryly as he forgot his bento.

"Oh me? I didn't make a bento so here I am" Kazuya shrugged, it's not like he is a picky eater but he plans on buying a cooking mastery as he has many SP.

Shido look at his food and Kazuya's, "So we're in a similar situation"

The two looks at each other then chuckled. The two talked while they are eating. So that's how Kazuya got along with the mc of this world.

It's been a week since his arrival. Things happened, Kazuya accidentally met with Kurumi again though she didn't know that.

They met a maid cage when Kazuya was there. One thing leads to another and they talked.

After that, the two met a few times again. Kazuya found out Kurumi was quite different. She is not a cold-blooded killer she was like a normal youth when she was with Kazuya.

He even often joked with her and made her laughed. All in all, he was quite happy. He got closer to Shido and Kotori as well as Kurumi.

And as usual today Kazuya attended school. He got more popular at school as he often answered the hard questions of teachers which made people thought he is smart.

Though that is correct, turns out when he merged with the system it enhanced his brain and comprehension. As for why? Well, the system said it's because if it didn't enhance his brain he would've died when merging with the knowledge he will get when he buys a product like Piano mastery since it will load his brain with information.
