Capítulo 50: Did Not Disappoint

Nan Xing had an unflappable attitude as she responded, "He only asked me out for dinner. And here we are..."

Yi Qin frowned showing his disapproval towards his brother right now. He did not expect his brother to actually have such an attitude towards Nan Xing. It did not sit well with him no matter how he thought about it. 

Now that he thought about it, he seemed to have noticed such things lately but chose to ignore them as if it didn't really concern him. Yi Jingyan's engagement to Nan Xing was arranged by the elders of the family but Yi Jingyan obviously agreed to it too. But now, he was ignoring his fiancée so blatantly after calling her out?

Even if Yi Jingyan was Yi Qin's own elder brother, Yi Qin wasn't naive enough to believe that his brother was busier than Nan Xing. Even if he was busy, the basic courtesy would be to inform your date about your absence or delay but his brother chose to do neither. This was the behavior that Yi Qin despised.
