"Let's not be so sentimental on this happy day," said Liu Xinyu. "You should go and enjoy your birthday."

"Right! I have a date today."

Liu Xinyu's smile stiffened when she heard that but then she resumed her smile like nothing happened. Whatever! Who hadn't dated when they were young? Why would she care about her father's date?

"Then have fun!" said Liu Xinyu and went to get dressed up for the day. She also had something important to do. She had to find her mother's dear 'son' today! 

When Yi Qin was about to leave, he asked her first how he was looking and only relaxed when he got her approval. Liu Xinyu almost laughed out loud at his tense expression. "By the way, I didn't buy a gift for you yet. I'll give it to you once I sort out some matters of my own."

Yi Qin frowned at her, "There is no need for a gift. You have done enough."
