Capítulo 152: Back On Track

As they walked deeper and deeper into the forest, Yiyi was certain that they were lost for sure this time and Liu Xinyu's hopes for wanting to go back home were just wishful thinking too but oddly, she didn't say her thoughts out loud. She was the only one who knew how much Liu Xinyu wanted to go home and even if there was a slightest bit of a chance, she'd take that chance at any cost just like right now.

As the rain fell on them, Liu Xinyu still didn't give up but slowly, the rain seeped not only into her clothes but also into her bones, chilling her passionate heart that had been excited enough to not even make her feel tired just now.

The light in her eyes dimmed slowly and then went out completely, leaving behind desolation. She found a small opening between the two rocks and crouched down to sit in the small hole that provided shade from the rain. Hugging her knees, she buried her head in her legs and just sat there silently.
