Capítulo 58: Terrifyingly cruel

No human is perfect, and Ryan knew that from personal experience, as he was far from perfect himself.

However, it was his first time realizing how humans can be terrifyingly cruel.

At just fourteen years old, Ryan had just experienced it firsthand, passively being beaten up with no chance to respond.

It hurts. Ryan was in miserable pain.

"Stop! Stop it! Have you gone nuts?" the woman shouted, infuriated at his attitude. But her attempt at defending the young boy only added to his misery. She decided to personally go and call the owner.

After ten minutes, the owner arrived with a dirty-looking and sticky brown-haired middle-aged man who was obviously drunk. He had a frown on his face as he dismissed the two with an apology. 

The owner glanced at Ryan, who was still writhing in pain, and took the money that the woman had given for Ryan to see a doctor.
