Capítulo 15: Chapter 15—Contract
Fae slowly walks away with my mouse in her hands. I don't know exactly what she is trying to do. I settle down in the grass on the ground watching the scenery. I am in a meadow, but there is also a forest about 30 yards away and Fae seems to be heading in that direction. I pluck blades of grass nervously, not knowing what to expect. Meanwhile I watch Fae's back as she slowly walks away with Micha in her hands who is a little worried from what I pick up from the link. She eventually reaches the forest and sinks into it.
I'm seriously starting to worry about Fae doing something nasty with the mouse. The minutes seem to get longer and I feel more and more uncomfortable. I still feel the connection and try to focus on it. He seems to be gradually diminishing off, since I still feel stress from Micha through the link, I guess I don't have to shoot out.
The minutes continue to pass and the bond continues to weaken proving that she continues to drift away. Eventually I start to feel that the bond is about to break completely and I scream as loud as I can to make sure Fae can hear me, but the bond continues to weaken and I suddenly stand up. I start to feel uncomfortable like something terrible is about to happen. I start to run towards the forest at full speed and start to sink into it.
Using the link, I can roughly figure out which direction to go. The bond then suddenly strengthens during my run and I don't understand why. It's like Micha is right next to me. I stop for a few moments to check that she's not around, but she isn't.
The bond then begins to fade again, as if Fae had sped up. I don't know what to do and stop. Fae instructed me not to move and wait until the bond has completely weakened before screaming. If I continue then the exercise is no longer one if I don't follow her instruction. I'm trying to find out what's going on with Micha's side, but the only thing I can feel is fear.
The information passing through the link ultimately decides me to start moving again. I walk then decide to run, getting more and more anxious that Fae does something bad to Micha.
I cross the forest avoiding the trees and the roots on my way as quickly as possible to get closer, but nothing helps, the link is still weakening. I scream again hoping Fae will stop this time and all of a sudden I feel a strong pain through the link. The violence is such that I fall to the ground. My throat is blocked and pain pierces my head, I am unable to move and stay still on the ground. Each beat of my heart seems more painful than the last and I feel nauseous. The link continues to decrease and eventually disappears completely.
How to describe the feeling … while until now I was feeling pain it suddenly faded. No more link, nothing, as if we had just stretched a rubber band until its limits and it teared away. I… I'm trying to figure out the why, but I'm having a little trouble. Does she blame her for last night? From what the link tells me, Micha looks very serious about this and I feel like it's almost jealousy melted with a bit of fear.

I have the impression that it will just be "unconditional" then. I press accept.
