As he does so he points over to the table in the room and flashes me his deck box and a 100 Yen coin.
I smile in response while taking out my own deck box.

'You'd think that after 2 and a half weeks of coming here that he'd actually learn the game, but he's just as terrible as when I first started coming here.' The teen who's name I know to be Kenji is pounding the table after his loss.
'I don't know if its some disease lowering everyone's IQ's but, why is everyone so bad at this game?' After my 9th straight win I count the Yen I've collected off of our little bets.
'I've made like, 2200 Yen off this guy. I almost feel bad...Though he's in the wrong playing a game for money against a 6 year old!? You deserve this!' Looking at Kenji with no ounce of pity in my eyes I grab up the 2 100 Yen coins he bet.
"Your too bad good at this!" Kenji exclaims while I put my winnings into my coat pocket. "I'm not that good you've just got bad luck!" I say that to him while giving him a smile filled with a childs purity. 'I'm glad I was able to learn a little Japanese, I don't really know complex words or how to write or read it but I can atleast figure out what the hell people are saying..'
Kenji leans back in his rickety chair and looks up the clock hanging from the wall before looking back at me. "Weren't you supposed to meet with your friend today? It's almost 8, that's the time he gets off right?"
After a moment of relization I jump out of my chair and start to collect my cards. "Your right! I completely forgot! Thanks for reminding me, he said that he'd take me shopping today for some new clothes."
Waving to Kenji I open the door and head out through the alleyway and into the main street, eventally hitting a intersection with a couple cars passing by. 'I'm just know realizing it but this is actually crazy...I mean I'm in a fiction world with magic and 17 different ways to kill you that all involve magical cardboard.'
'I'm actually surprised that I haven't broken down or anything...I mean for that its worth I had a family, I didn't have a partner or kids but I had a mom, dad, and couple of siblings. I should feel something about losing all of them but I just...don't. I didn't really have the time to think about it all since I was more busy with trying to live, but it's still so strange to me..'
People move ahead of me with a couple accidental bumps which shakes me out of thoughts, moving along I reach one of the only buildings I know by heart, the 7/11. 'He isn't here yet...I guess I can buy my dinner while I'm here since Kenji's bento boxes suck ass.'
Entering the store I greet the clerk in very broken Japanese before heading towards the back of the store. Grabbing a couple of items including a limited edition Duel Monster's mochi showing a large metal construct built in a similar likeness to that of a spider.
'I wish I could read, but that probably going to take me a while to figure out I still don't understand why you'd need 4 different characters for the smae word!' Heading back up to the clerk I quickly take out a couple coins and end up sending around 1000 Yen.
'Damn! This mochi better be worth it! Speaking of that isn't Duel Monsters just now starting why does it already have extra products to promote it like mochi? Pegasus or whoever must be making bank!' Leaving the 7/11 I go to sit down on my usual table but as I sit down in one of the chairs another hand slaps its self down.
"Riku! How are you?" Hara greets me with his normal exicted tone and gives me a pat on the head as I sit down. "I've been doing good Mister Hara!"
Hara visibly recoils at the word Mister but he clears his throat and responds. "That's good, well just like I promised I'm gonna take you shopping! Well it isn't gonna be the best since my damn boss won't give me my packcheck yet, I'll be able to get you something else other than those old clothes!"
Contrary to Hara's overall gloomy appearance he exitedly gets up and lifts me out of the chair. 'I'm slightly offened but I'll let it slide.' Before spots my newly bought mochi and puts me down quickly. "Duel Monsters has mochi? They must be rolling in the dough! Ha! Dough.."
'That wasn't funny.' Though I pretend it is as I a chuckle a little at his hopefully unintentional pun. "Anyway! We've got some shopping to do! I know ths place that's run by one of my cousins that has a lot of clothes that seem nearly your size. Plus I can get a good discount!"
Hara grabs my bag and my hand and starts leading me to this mysterious shop. 'While this could be where I finally get kidnapped I'll be able to finally get some good clothes!'
Looking up at Hara as he walks me down the block while pointing at other buildings I come to an epiphany. 'Hara...He's got to be some special kind of stupid...Though I guess its good for me that he's so stupid. I probably would've died without this guy...I won't say to his face though its way to embarrassing..'
