Ryan started walking towards his opponent matching his foot steps. They got closer and closer to each other. An invisible pressure was fighting for dominance in between them as the gap closes.
Boom!
Ryan used his flash steps to close that gap instantly and he only a sword length apart. He wasted no time to swing his sword down.
His opponent 204 wasn't remotely phase at the change. He just had disdain in his eyes looking at Ryan and threw a punch out.
To Ryan surprise 204 ignored the sword entirely and he punch straight at his chest. Conflicting thoughts ran through Ryan head.
(Should I stop my swing and protect my chest, Should I continue the swing and we both get injured, my sword will hit first I got longer reach, why is he not blocking, do he have another way to defend.)
Even though these thoughts went through his head fast, but he still ran out of time to change his decision.
CLANG!!
Ryan sword landed on his opponent neck and a loud sound echo through the stage. A sound of 2 metal objects hitting each other, had confused Ryan. But before Ryan had the time to mentally digest what it could mean, the punch connected to his chest.
The force of the punch sent Ryan flying backwards. He rolled a few times on the ground before he could be heard coughing struggling to breathe. He got the air knocked out of him, but he kept one eye on his opponent as he trying to recover.
It's a good thing he did, metal shackles was shot from 204 hands.
Boom!
Ryan used flash steps to avoid them, but still round up falling back to the ground from the recent punch. His opponent started walking towards him and Ryan did his best to recover.
Ryan threw his throwing knives as fast as he could but his opponent casually blocked them with his gauntlets. His steps didn't stop.
"I hope you the type that don't like to surrender, there got to be a punishment for wasting my time. How could fighting you be consider practice." He used a movement technique to rush Ryan.
Ryan just ran backwards using his floating steps and flash steps just enough to not get caught.
204 shot those shackles again, but Ryan successfully dodge them. Ryan thought the attack was over, but he shot even more shackles from his other arm.
He was controlling the shackles like tentacles and each arm had 4 shackles coming from them. It was getting harder and harder to dodge. At first they was moving together in sync but its like each one got a mind of its own.
It was clearly trying to set a trap but Ryan kept escaping. He cancel his shackles spell and looked at Ryan with anger.
"I hate people like you the most, all you do is run. Why come and fight if you just going to run." The anger and disdain in his tone was loud and clear.
Ryan didn't respond, he was still trying to think of a way to win. He already realize he probably incapable of actually hurting him as long as he got mana. From everything he had noticed so far 204 have a metal element. His 2 spells are the shackles and armor spell. He must of use a spell to block his sword.
204 started walking towards Ryan again and ran got prepared to waste more time. His only hope is if he make him run out of mana.
Just as Ryan was about to create distance.
Cling!
There was shocked and fear in Ryan eyes when he had looked down at the shackle that was wrapped around his leg.
"Who said my shackles got to come from my hands." As he laughed, he shot more shackles from his arm.
A thought to cut off his leg flash through Ryan head, but he felt that would be to much. Since his movement got restricted, he got caught by the other shackles.
Ryan had a shackle on each one of his limbs, he looked just like a prisoner. There was slack on the chain, so he still have some movement, but running away is impossible now. There was hesitation in Ryan eyes as he hear his opponent still laughing at him.
"Oh, you didn't surrender yet." 204 yank the shackles and Ryan got pulled towards him. Ryan used the momentum of the pull and flash steps to close the gap.
Ryan went for a stab instead of a slash like last time.
CLANG!!
"Did you really think that would work."
The sword stab into his opponent clothes, but that was it for the damage. Ryan stood there not moving feelings of despair building up. He couldn't surrender he will lose all his mana stones, but staying seem pointless if he can't hurt his opponent.
204 stood there just looking at Ryan struggling to think of a way out, making him form a smirk on his face. The smirk couldn't look more sinister.
"Its my turn now." 204 threw a punch right into Ryan stomach. Ryan subconsciously went to block it but it was a faint. The real punch was a left handed hook to the face.
Pow!
Ryan stubble backwards, and see many more punches coming his way. Ryan did his best to block but 204 would just increase his punching power. So blocking would still cause damage. Ryan tried dodging, but than 204 will do alot of faints. Ryan even tried to punch back, but 204 would just ignored them completely and continued to beat Ryan up.
Ryan punches don't do enough damage for him to care if he get hit by them. 204 could had been had ended the fight if he wanted to, but he chose to lessen the power in his punches to torture Ryan.
Ryan got beat up incredibly badly for over 5 minutes. Ryan currently laying on the ground coughing up blood, trying to get back up. If you looked into Ryan's eyes right now, it would look hollow. No emotion could be seen in them.
"Im surprised you can still move, there was still a good amount of power in my punches. These spikes on my gauntlets can't be helping either." He laughed as he kicked Ryan stomach causeing him to fall back to the ground.
Ryan didn't stay on the ground long, he was already trying to climb to his feet.
"Now let's get to the real fun part, I always had enjoyed the sound of people screaming when I break there bones."
204 walked over to Ryan and was prepared to step on his ankle. But he didn't notice the glint that shined in Ryan eyes just as he lifted his leg.
Ryan made his opponent 21 times lighter. Then he used flash steps to boost his jump upwards, as he uppercut him off the ground.
Ryan jumped up to follow him in the air and used the shackles that was attached to him to pull himself towards 204.
204 didn't get a chance to cast his metal armor spell, so the uppercut daze him for a bit so he didn't react to Ryan pulling himself closer.
Ryan used 204 as a foot hold, and jumped off of him. He grabbed onto the chain to pull 204 up to him and repeated it a couple times. By now 204 wasn't daze any more, but he was panicking on what to do. At this point they were extremely high in the air, and he subconsciously thought if he deactivated the shackles he would just fall down.
Which gave Ryan even more time to get him higher. 204 couldn't understand the logic in what's happening. He didn't know Ryan could make people weigh less.
Ryan doesn't truly understand what his element is actually doing. He thinks all it does is make things heavy and lighter. But gravity is not that simple.
Ryan made it to the top of the formation that is around the stage and smiled at his opponent. It looked more sinister than Ryan thought from being completely bloody.
Ryan used the top of the formation as a foot hold, and jumped towards 204. Ryan rotated and spin kick the top of 204 head with the heel of his shoe.
He had failed to react fast enough to block it, and got swated downwards. He had to much going on in his head. He was even thinking about surrendering, winning the fight didn't matter that much to him.
He even lost concentration and his shackles spell deactivated.
As he traveling down Ryan made him as heavy as possible while falling down with him.
Ryan pulled out a sword from his ring and started to spin his body repeatedly to build up speed for the sword.
"SWORD OF SUPPRESSION!!" Ryan yelled it out as he let go of his sword just before 204 hit the ground.
Boom!!
Was the sound of 204 hitting the ground.
Boom!!
Was the sound of his sword falling right after. Ryan looked down, and noticed the dusty bowl-shaped depression in the stage.
Ryan made himself lighter to land safely. He didn't waste no time and made his way to the first sword he started with that was on the ground.
He picked it up and was on his way to the crater in the ground.
When he got there the dust was gone, and you could see a sword impel into 204 stomach. He had a face of pain and his eyes still looking unfocused.
Ryan pulled out his throwing knives, but just before he threw them he hear. "I surrender."
