Capítulo 48: 48 The Starfall Arena
Ryan and the family left the inn after eating breakfast together. The battle arena was slightly far away it took over 30 minutes to get there. Ryan saw a new side of the city on his way there, or a glimpse of it.
He had walked past the slums of the city, where all the people that is homeless or poor live at. Just the glimpse down the street he had walked past, let him see something disturbing.
Tom and them didn't even bother looking, like they already knew what was over there, and they rather not see it. They eventually got to the arena that is incredibly big looking from the outside. There was a big sign on the building that says "The Starfall Arena" in red letters.
It definitely give off the vibe that you will see alot of blood. They had walked in the door, and it wasn't as busy as Ryan thought it will be. Once you walk inside there plenty of room before you will make it to any of the 10 counters. Only 3 of them open right now though.
Tom walked to one of the counter and ask the girl behind this see through screen about fighting in the arena.
"Good morning sir, everything you would want to know is on this paper. It will explain everything, and answers to some of the most common questions we are asked." The lady said in a unhurried tone.
"Thanks, and when do the fights start and how much it will cost to watch them. "
"The Starfall Arena let people enter the stadium at 2pm but the official first match won't start until 3pm. The cost will depends on the seating and if you betting or not. If you betting you can get in for free with good seats but if you not betting it will cost 1 LG mana stones (LG=Low Grade.) With good seats."
"The other seats is not nearly as good but depending on what core you pay with is the seat you will get. Each person have to pay 1 beast core, it could be as low as a rank1 beast core or as high as a rank 4 beast core."
"Thank you and how do I know who fighting today."
"The people who will be fighting will show up on the building walls as they check in. It will be hard to miss trust me." She said with a smile.
They left the building, and was planning on coming back around 3pm. They went to find a place to sit down in the mean time and read the paper they got.

"Humm, it won't be easy to earn mana stones. If I lose without winning 3 in a row I would had wasted the 5 mana stones to enter" Ryan said as he looking at the paper.
"Yeah, but you can still place bets on your self. Sadly you have to do it before you get to see your opponent, so it could be pretty risky to bet. I will say this, I haven't met a rank 1 novice kill a rank3 beast in one hit." Tom said trying to encourage Ryan.
"I will try to win fights above my rank, to make sure i get enough mana stones before the academy entry test." Ryan sighed to himself knowing it will be a close call.
They wasted time until it was time for the first match to start at The Starfall Arena. They just paid with rank 2 beast cores to get in into the stadium.
The first thing he noticed when entering the stadium were the people. There were so many of them, with so much excitement and anticipation, that it was visible in the air.
Thousands of people of all ages was talking and chanting for the person they want to win. The noise kept getting louder and louder as more people arrived and joined in. There were thousands of people cramming their way into every available seat. Ryan see why people would pay more for a better seat, the seats were made of a cold, hard material, and painted black and white.
They were really uncomfortable and sitting in them was a real pain. They were built so close together so you had to squeeze into them. The stadium had loads of smells. You could smell the aromas from different foods, drinks, and sweaty people that was subjected to the hot suns in the sky.
The screens were set on a massive metallic structures, on each side of the stadium. There was multiple fighting stages below and there was a section on each of the screen for each stage.
Even though we all sat close together we had to lean into each other to talk. It wasn't until 20 minutes later a loud voice could be heard and everyone got silent. Like it was a rule not to make noise when he speaks.
"Good evening, and thanks for joining in. We will begin today matches with the rookies. The people you see fighting this round is there first fight, or at least one of the fighters on each stage. We will get right into the fights in 10 minutes dont forget to check the winning odds. The rookies may just win this time around."
