Capítulo 55: Fiction Is Better Than Reality

Roz finally looked up from her book at the commotion. "…what on earth did you do to him?"

Izzy smiled to herself feeling rather satisfied. "I left a kind of funny note on his cast, that's all."

"Okay then. Did you get his name?"

"I—" she cut herself off when she realized she hadn't. And that she hadn't given hers either since she signed the cast as his library buddy. "No. I was so nervous I guess I sort of forgot that part."

"Wasn't that the whole reason you went over there in the first place?" Roz asked in disbelief. 

"It was half of the reason. I also wanted to potentially cheer him up. It seems like I did that at least. Unfortunately, now I can't go back over there because it would be too weird. So I guess he's going to have to be M&M Guy forever unless he decides to talk to me first. I used up all my courage for the foreseeable future."

"You're hopeless. Get back to your book."
