Felix didn't know just how sad he was until Psalm reached out to him and he felt his whole mood change within the blink of an eye. He was on his way home when that happened.

He'd gone to pick something up from his father, Malik's home and had returned to his place when he saw the familiar name on his phone screen when it started ringing.

"Hey, Psalm," Felix said, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

"Hey, you," Psalm replied, his voice soft and intimate over the phone. "How's college life treating you today?"

"Better now that I'm hearing your voice," Felix responded, his cheeks heating up.

"You're really honest today," Psalm teased. "But I'm glad I can make your day a little brighter."

Felix rolled his eyes.

"I miss you so much," Psalm continued, his voice filled with longing. "I wish I could be there with you right now, cuddling you on that uncomfortable bed of yours."
