Yvonne stared at her hand which had frozen in the air with astonishment evident in her deep amethyst eyes.

Her attempt to approach the new etcher had without doubt ended in failure but her focus wasn't on this but had been attracted to something else entirely.

The little hand in front of her which she had extended towards the etcher was where her focus was aimed.

Ever since Chesnut had opened its eyes and stared in her direction, something very strange had taken place.

The moment their eyes met, Yvonne's gaze was attracted towards the little mouth that had opened up in quick succession.

The young girl knew that this could only mean one thing, which was the fact that the bunny-like creature intended to chomp down on the hand that was heading in its direction.

She did not take this to heart as she wondered just how much could a little bunny's bite hurt.
