Meanwhile, the Lin's who had decided to show up announced at the Zhang family's main home had been in for a rough surprise because they waited for three hours, and not even a maid that worked for the Zhang's paid a courtesy visit to them at the main gates. 

Nobody from the Zhang family that they were in contact with was answering their calls and when it came to Alix, it was even worse since she had blocked them both. 

After such a long wait, frustration had kicked in and Lin Qianfan who was extremely grumpy decided that they should turn back and leave. 

Their return to the Lin villa was met with questions. The first one coming from Qianfan's mother.

"Where is that girl?" she asked him. 

Lin Qianfan was hungry and angry. For a minute, his frustration overwhelmed the filial piety he always prided himself in having and he exploded, shouting at his mother.
