Capítulo 48: Suddenly a millionaire

The female employee was still hovering in the entrance of the office. 

"Call master Yuz, hurry." He instructed her.

He then turned his gaze back on to Alix. With what sounded like coquettishness, he said to her. "We can repair that pearl bracelet for you beloved guest. We can even replace the old pearls with new ones."

"It's not necessary." She told him.

She touched the bracelet and smiled softly. Whether the pearls were old, crooked, fake or real, she didn't care.

Tai Ho Sun was nothing if not observant. He was also determined to get the imperial jade. What if she took it to Re-cee after receiving a valuation from them? He changed tactics and went a different way.

"It's a gift I take it, one of sentimental value it seems. In that case, please allow me to replace the string with something much more beautiful while we discuss business."

He had to tie her down here somehow.
