Capítulo 100: Approaching Threat

After what happened on the bank of the river, Zuzhou Nuo had finally reached the conclusion that the best chance at survival she and her tribe had was to receive help from the young man. This didn't mean that she completely trusted him, but there was little in terms of alternatives. Thus, with some reluctance and a sense of hesitance, she had begun leading him back to the clearing where the White Deer had set up camp. 

The distance they needed to traverse wasn't that large. She had still been in the camp's vicinity when she was shot, prompting her to run in the opposite direction. However, she hadn't made it far. 

The doe walked in the front while Yun Lei followed from behind, neither speaking a word to each other. But suddenly, Yun Lei's steps came to a halt. 

"What happened? We're clo—" 

Upon noticing that the young man behind her was no longer walking, she turned her head around and asked, only to be interrupted with a hiss.
